I'm glad that cry-baby is finally out of the game... Every time Hopkins loses he has a poopfit... He insisted Smith pushed him out of the ring when nothing like that happened... Smith was too strong for him and punched him out of the ring... He cried like a baby when Dawson and Calzaghe beat him too... I'm glad he's gone... Roy Jones said, "There was no pushing... But Bernard is going to be Bernard... He doesn't like to lose." ... Who does??? Show some sportsmanship.

If my little sister shoved him out of the ring, she would also beat Hopkins by stoppage.

Are some people so God Damn brain dead they believe that was anything close to a push?

I think Hopkins probably thought that he was pushed out of the ring. Naturally once he watches the replay back he'll see that wasn't the case, but I don't think he was "looking for a way out" or anything based on how he reacted once on his feet again.

It was no push, but you can't blame Hopkins for the suggestion. He was understandably groggy and disappointed.

While it ended up being a clean win for Hopkins, different circumstances such as a couple feet of ring canvas outside the ring like some rings have could have given us a different result.

He didn't even try to break his fall which makes me think he was out of it from the punches at least enough that he just went straight back landing on his back and maybe hitting his head. It was funny hearing him say his ankle was sprained when he was feet up. What a shame to end his career like that. He should have called it a career several years ago.

He was starting to land the right hand as he was loosening up. I couldn't believe how bad he looked in the first 2 rounds. His movement looked like a novice amateur and was embarrassing. Boxing is a young mans sport, not for 50 years old and I think in his prime he would have torn Joe up.

I agree with pretty much all that but even when Hopkins was in his prime he looked bad in the first few rounds. Maybe not as bad as he looked last night early though.

You forgot to mention he hurt his ankle falling on his back and head, but walked back to his dressing room without a limp.

Punches are pushes now? I saw 3 or 4 clean punches KNOCK Hopkins out of the ring, I didn't see 1 push.
