Shannon Briggs is making a lot of noise - that's what he does after all - about fighting Lucas Browne for the WBA regular title.

Says the WBA are about to order it.

Browne could knock out Briggs. Briggs could knock out Browne. It is that type of fight and that makes it an interesting possibility.

Problem with this WBA belt is Oquendo is first in line for a WBA Title fight, It seems Oquendo was never ready for his title shot.
Now Browne is in the mix again Oquendo might drag his ass into the ring for one last pay day. I'm thinking Oquendo will pass his obligation to Browne, hoping someone of higher profile defeats Browne increasing his potential earnings

The WBA didn't sanction Browne or Oquendo. They sanctioned Browne and Oquendo.

A fight for the regular WBA title is Oquendo's for the taking provided he is fit and wants it.

Browne is ready, Oquendo won't be till next year
Only way Browne fights before year end is on a card in U.K
Not enough time to get done locally?
Oquendo fights winner next Year?

Shannon Briggs still sounding very confident about a Browne fight for the WBA title. He thought he was a cert for a Haye bout before this though and that all amounted to nothing.

Briggs doesn't have a promoter so it will be up to Hatton to get something done in the UK or Matt Clarke will have to find an Aussie promoter that will want to fork out the cash

Making a heavyweight fight these days seems near on impossible.

So its Browne Vs Briggs - What a circus act to follow the WBA are. Anyway good luck to Browne and still hope the fight lands in Australia preferable Sydney or Melbourne.
