AT heavyweight I'm not convinced he does, mind you very few do, but his only impressive wins really are Chisora and Valuev.

Parker-Ruiz is a good fight i think people are underestimating Ruiz but i wouldn't be surprised whoever won the fight. Parker is powerful and throws loads of shots but his defense isn't very good. I think Ruiz-Parker, Joshua-Price and Wlad-Browne are the fights that will most likely happen. Idk what Haye is going to do but chuck in guys like Whyte, Ortiz, Povetkin, Wilder and Furys return and the heavyweight division is going to be very interesting.

Well hes biggest wins are Hanks and Hamer which is not much. It is more the 104 - 8 amateur record that is interesting.

Yes Haye has done well in the past. And in the last 3 years he has wins over the great world beaters de Mori and Gjergjaj.

Haye has not done anything meaningful in long time so it is bit weird that he gets the mandatory shot.

I guess it all comes down to the money. All hail boxing

My dismissal is from the two fights I've seen. Hamer lit him up for two rounds and he couldn't get rid of a way shot liakhovich.

Parker vs Ruiz in general will be a huge test in Ruiz career, and apparently not so much for Parker that had better opponents than Ruiz. Parker doesn't impress so much in terms of young big undefeated and technical prospect boxers like Joshua.

If Vyacheslav Glazkov didn't had that f. injury defeat that was obvious he would win the ridiculous Martin, he surely would take Parkers' place and even Joshua's in heavyweights' undefeated most targeted and even competing with Fury.

After what I called a good test taken by Parker when fighting Takam (that's a minimum acceptable was a draw because for me Takam won, and IMO resulted in a bit fiasco win for Joseph Parker, because he did a crap boxing and didn't deserve that win) if winning Ruiz, he must have to take a big real test shot to prove and launch himself in the place of the great heavyweights (opponents like Glazkov, Ortiz or Pulev is enough).

Haye made his comeback for one more big money fight. It's gonna be either Joshua or Bellew. Klitschko and Wilder are also options. He could probably even beat Wilder imo.

Look the fight analysing as a judge would do (counting the "The Four Components of Scoring" (Effective Aggression, Ring Generalship, Defense and Hard and Clean Punches)) and you'll see the 2 rounds for Glazkov, bit far away 1 round for each boxer. Besides that (and complementing what I had said), look the level of the fighters Glazkov got in his career compared to Parker's.

I gave him rounds 1,5,6,8,9,12 and as I told a draw was fair (for Takam win far the 4th round for him, but not totally agreed), watching again, Takam's sin was 10th and 11th because he drew back and mostly 6th when Parker was tired and he could attack otherwise was certain victory.

As you said "boxer(s)" like Joshua, I have to ask who are these boxers like Joshua that are big and undefeated who are young and more impressive than Parker?

First of all, the term "young" I mean about boxer between 20 to ~29, and I don't see too much in Parker as many who lick his balls (until first loss), he is nothing more than a good average fighter. When I told about Joshua I forgot to put the other names I'll say here, sorry.

Joshua is a great heavyweight rising star, and is nothing new in that since he is an Olympic gold medalist and it means a bit (it's visible that most of the medalists have above average career and better opponents in boxing, to not say they are technically much superior). Joshua has much more technique, strength, speed, intelligence (and muscles too) differently from most heavyweight boxers that are half of it and are physically fatter.

I might be wrong, but just w8 and see in next 2 years guys like Adrian Granat, Trey Lippe and Jarrell Miller. I pay special attention to Sergey Kuzmin, whom with few good fights is rising faster than many boxers with 20 fights+, he has balls.

Out of those rounds I gave Parker round 6. I thought that Takam was not doing enough for the first 2 minutes. The end of the round was more even.

I also gave him round 12. That was really tight round. Takam was more active but I think that Parker got better shots in. That could have gone either way.

The only way it is likely to happen is a unification. But that would be unlikely to happen until Parker got past Ruiz, Haye and probably a voluntary defence.

Haye won't fight Parker. Jarell Miller is next in line.

This is professional sport. Milking belts for all they are worth is why fighters try and win them in the first place.

Joseph Parker's world title against Andy Ruiz fight has been confirmed for Auckland.

The fight will be held indoors at Vector Arena.
