No doubt but I'd be surprised if his purse approached 6 figures let alone 7
You clearly don't understand how these things work then.

There are a lot of knowledgeable people on here and I think you'd be hard pushed to find one of them that will agree that Briggs got paid close to a million pounds for that fight. Seriously mate, that's so far away it's unreal.

He got paid 6 figures. There were no other big names on the card.

You said nearly seven figures a minute ago, which be £900,000 or so. Show me some proof of these wild allegations. :TU: :OhYes:

500 is not close to seven figures, not at all. Do you have some proof or are you just guessing?

Jesus, 500k for an undercard fight on a poor card topped by a glorified exhibition fight

I wouldn't like to be a promoter negotiating a fighter's purse with you as his agent :D

Not a chance in the world I would be surprised if he took home much more than a 10th of that. I would be surprised if haye took too much more than £500k for a non ppv event in and 16,000 tickets sold once the overheads were taken out.

500k - you have no idea what you are on about!

Haye will have been lucky to clear that. Briggs got publicity and maybe just six figures at a push but I doubt it. £50k I'd say tbh

:D

Nearly a million quid :D

Had he been paid even a tenth of that he'd have disappeared til the new year
He got paid.
He did not get payed a dime... proving else would proof Briggs lied, which he didn't, Haye walked away with all the money Briggs created for him. And even received credits for giving the money earmed by Briggs away to an injured UK boxer.

I repeat, Briggs never received a penny, David Haye took all the money to himself.

Proof me wrong, if you succeed Briggs will be a proven lier.

Sadly... Everybody who knows what he's talking about, knows you can't.

Briggs would have done well to get 10% of that.

I'd say 50k is a good guess. Why would anybody pay him more?

If that is true, Briggs is the idiot not Haye. To take a fight for no pay, with no concrete contract in place to get the Haye fight or any future pay off is stupid. To agree to help Haye sell the fight with the story that was given (and I am sure the whole Lets Go Champ schtick helped shift some tickets and get some views) but for no money, no wonder he is broke.

the burden of proof isn't with us, it's on you, prove he didn't receive a penny.

Why would Briggs have agreed to fight for free? He really must have taken serious licks to his head to do that.
