And Naz. My god, I've never noticed how flamboyant they are all! And Ryan Rhodes too! Anyone remember his "Spice Boy" phase? Wonder what the story there is?
Yeah I've noticed there's a touch of campery about Brook, weird isn't it?

Herol used to have a ' friend' get in the ring congratulating him after his fights,if you look back at his older fights you'll see him climb in and hug Graham.

I really don't understand why witter didn't just send a few boys around to "speak" to the guy instead of looking stupid on tv.

Maybe because it's illegal?

He probably wanted the 5 minutes of fame that being on Judge Ringer brought as well.

It’s amazing how Witter gets remembered considering he amassesd a FIFTEEN fight CONSECUTIVE run of KOs/ TKOs at the European and Domestic level. His chance against Judah came a bit early. He should have fought more like he did against Harris.

He won a world title and he wouldn't have got the chance to do that without the KO run. Saved his career which was ready for the scrap heap after the Judah fight. Amazing when you think of how dull performances have hardly damaged fighters recently. Judah had so much backing in them days and a late replacement novice(ish) Brit wasn't supposed to spoil the fight

American TV never forgave him for that performance

Yeah that fight really ruined his career, it wasn't so much that he showed Judah up, which he did at times, but that he made the fight so negative, I remember there being loud boos throughout the fight, I think it was HBO if I recall? They never aired him again I believe.

Tyson undercard as well wasn't it?

Yes Witter was very impressive that night versus Harris. One of the best performances in Doncaster you're likely to see. Corner could've got him disqualified for getting up on the ring apron before it had officially finished, however.

Think Clinton Woods' corner jeopardised him in his career defining win over Glen Johnson as well.

the best i ever saw witter box was against guiseppi lauri, a punch perfect devastating display, find the video if you have not seen it. it was at the height of the hatton/witter arguaments. i firmly believed hatton ducked witter due to his power and the fight not being worth enough. the hattons did like their pennies!

I thought he was trying to get money out of Ricky Hatton for denying him a payday! :TU:

Hatton had beaten lauri comprehensively 2 years previously

that was the problem with witter for me, he didn't really get that headline win

even harris had been smashed by maussa beforehand and we saw what hatton did to him

i remember he was linked to kelson pinto but seemed to not fancy it
