Wilder would spark him.
Nope, Wilder would duck him, just like last time.
Other way round.

Nope, Hughie accepted on 8 weeks notice, an amount of prepare time that Wilder usually never offers to his opponents, because he's scared. Wilder replied he only wanted to give him 7,5 weeks and ducked him right after.

Lies. He turned down the fight. The only person Wilder ducked is Ortiz.

The biggest impediment to Ortiz career has been his chronic ped use.

When Wilder is fit again he is supposed to fight the winner of the forthcoming Povetkin-Stiverne interim title bout.
Maybe he could face Hughie after that.
He'll be allowed a voluntary first.
He's already taken a bunch of voluntaries (Al Haymon cherry-picks)... WTF is this??? FIGHT somebody... no more muggings, this is supposed to be a sport.

Looks like you're right. I thought he got popped like 5 years ago. Just inactivity.

No lies, they even openly stated it on twitter at the time, they accepted on 8 weeks notice. But Wilder ducked and chose to fight that guy that lost against that Polish cruiserweight and Teper on 3 weeks notice or so instead.

Why does anybody wanna see this? Hughie's not even Top 20. Why does Wilder forever get a pass to fight not Top 10 opponents?

I thought the same thing about Tyson vs Wlad

I like both fighters. I'd favour Wilder over Fury right now & Fury over Wilder in 2/3 years from now.

Tyson was a Top 10 contender at least though. Hughie's not even Top 20.

I'm not even a 100% sure about that with Povetkin, Klitschko himself, Chagaev, Pulev, Wilder, Tony and name them at the time. I do remember I didn't rate him that high at all.
