I suspect Warren wasn't in Kentucky because he wont want to be on the same continent as Mike Tyson after their alleged altercation some time ago.

James, Audley was a Super Heavyweight Amateur which is a big difference. While, I don't know that much about Audley's amateur record I know that one of the UK's most successful amateurs at that weight (Kevin Evans) only fights about 3-4 a year when busy.

A few years ago he came into the 4 nations event with only 2 fights under his belt in a year. - before the 4 nations started he was fighting even less.

Also, as I have said before, if there is such a thing as a lucky Olympic champion, Audley is it - bye into the first round, 30 seconds away from defeat before the ref stupidly stopped the contest. The pre-tournament favourite fights like a crab and is eliminated. Look at the proffesional pedigree of the guys Audley beat after his first contest - quite poor.

It is little wonder that the IOC tried to bar the Super Heavy devision, I'm all for it based on the last Olympics - The other medalists were poor.

Am I wrong in thinking Audley would have had to give up his paper title to fight for the British title.?

And is this something to do with the 3 judges he wanted?

Imagine if he'd been at the 1996 or 1992 Games. He'd have been absolutely slaughtered in the opening bouts!!

No this has got something to do with allegedly screwing the fans again, but because it involves Audley the majority of fans have a go at Audley instead of Warren.
