Agree totally - Great win for Ward. Kovalev had no answers once he was out of his comfort zone. If Kov goes into rematch with no new ideas could be lopsided
No answers for what ??? Ward was barely doing anything beside clinching, running and ocasional low blows.
And where the f*ck did you find the great win for Ward in jezzamundo's post? According to him, Ward won rounds 7 and 8, while Kovalev won rounds 1,2,4,6,10 with five close rounds. So, the judges gave ALL FIVE close rounds to Ward. What a coincidence!

Exactly. As illustrated in the film analysis at the top of this thread. You left off head butting, though.

IMO, Ward won 12-0. But if you're being generous, you could score round 2 for Kovalev.

You must be thinking that it was Loma who quit against Walters or at least that Walters was winning 7-0

I'm surprised the las vegas judges and ref didn't hold Walters hand up and declare him the winner even after he quit.

Speaking of Lomachenko... Orlando Salido beat him 12-0.

First of all this is a thread about Kovalev-Ward. Secondly what do u mean 12-0? It was a split decision and only Loma's second pro fight. They r talking about a rematch now.

I think Lackeos had it a bit onesided. I think Salido took it 9-3.
