Yet another silly fight involving a world class British fighter.
Bellew will talk loud, but no one expects anything from him. Haye should take him out, and very quickly. And he will. I don't care about record or height, or weight at certain points in career, Haye is a genuine heavy handed heavyweight now. bellew just won't be able to live with it.

3 rounds ...if bellow is still there after 5 he has a chance
I think Bellew does well to hear the bell for the end of the first round.
No disrespect to Tony, he is a good fighter at his weight. Haye is too big - like Frazier was too big for Bob Foster and he got him out of there inside two rounds, which Haye will do to Bellew.

Bellew will be on the backfoot hoping he gasses

Probably the smartest tactic he could use, but to make sure he gassed he needs to make him work, and thats where it comes undone for him.
He's screwed no matter what he does.

Bellew struggled against Adonis, who is a southpaw....

I suspect the fix is in here. Haye stops Bellew without him taking any serious punishment ala Audley. Both get a payday. Haye then gets another payday against Joshua. Bellew drops back down to defend cruiser title.

what, bet on himself to win, say, around the third or fourth as with Audley?
Recall Haye bragging about that.
True, British fighters have been punching too far above their weights, of recent.

Hah well aside from the whole "Haye betting on himself in a particular round" angle, I just feel that as a businessman he knows that it wouldn't do for him to partake in a 1 round farce. I feel 3 rounds is a long enough duration to placate the folks that will pay for this.
I hate to slag off boxing but it just goes from bad to worse.
Any chance Charlo v Williams will be on British TV? Aside from the Showdown later tonight it's about all that sparks my interest this side of Christmas.

Haye inside 3 at 11/4 is a huge price and Haye inside 6 at 4/5 is a certainty. Planning a big bet to pay for my gambling at Cheltenham a couple of weeks afterwards!

Haye won't mess around here. He'll want to show that he's levels above Bellew and take him out in explosive and quick fashion.

The case for Bellew rests on how much Haye has regressed through age and inactivity.

Which appears to be very little. Certainly not nearly enough for someone like Bellew to overtake him.

I personally think the first punch Haye lands it's over.

Also Haye (was hopefully still is ) a great finisher. If he gets Bellew like he was against Makabu the fight is over no doubt about it.

I haven't seen anything to suggest otherwise, but Haye regressing is the only hope Bellew has in my opinion.

He's up against a 36 year old man who has fought for about 400 seconds since the summer of 2012.
Haye hasn't been in any kind of fight since a major operation so we don't know how his body (shoulders?) will hold up after a few rounds of action.
Since Haye beat Chisora Bellew has fought THIRTEEN times, losing only to Adonis Stephenson and beating some decent fighters along the way including stopping the very highly rated Makabu - who had beaten his previous 19 opponents, stopping 18 of them - as well as Flores who had never been stopped.
Bellew is punching harder than ever. And boxing smarter than ever. He's been improving while Haye's been...well doing what Haye does.
And here's the clincher. The last time Haye fought a Light Heavyweight turned Cruiserweight from the North West of England was against Carl Thompson
I don't seriously expect Bellew to win but I don't think it's the complete mismatch most on here appear to. I can see a decent battle for a few rounds til Haye's heavier weight counts - similar to Brook GGG. Actually that's not a good example is it

Biggest problem is Bellew would probably need some rounds and wearing down to get at and stop Haye, whereas I believe the consensus is Haye lands decently and Bellew is gone, Bellew has never really been a guy able to avoid shots and that means that although your comments are fair enough, the reality is likely to be that sometime between the first bell and the one to end round 3 Haye will have landed a shot or two that ends it.

I will give credit to bellew for taking this fight,he has more balls than joshua who is a bonafide heavyweight 6,6 of pure muscle but still scared to take on haye right now,at least bellew has called for it,got it and believes he can win. Im the first to slate bellew on here as i dont like his big mouth but credit were its due he is taking on the hardest hitting one punch heavyweight in the world today

I'm backing Bellew. I think he'll stop a gassed Haye coming down the stretch.

It's not balls, it's just it's the quickest route to making a packet. Joshua isn't scared of Haye, he just doesn't really need him right now, when he is making a fortune every time he fights.
If Bellew had other similarly lucrative options, no way he would take on Haye. He knows that if he loses has no real effect on his earning power, and if he by some miracle won, he's got other big fights ahead.
