Boxing needs New superstars who fight anybody and not only once a year. .
Mcgregor should be an inspiration to all boxers
I think he did even tho he fought the best around apart from a prime tszyu, margarito,a prime mosley or prime pacman. Las vegas judges and the powers that be in boxing gave him way too much power,he got beat by castillo in the first fight but the judges gave him the fight, odlh beat hom but the judges gave him a sd win and he should of been DQed against judah but scrapped through that,in my eyes he has a 46-3 record,if he wanted to start calling cotto undedeated when they fought cause margarito beat him with loaded gloves and pacman beat him but floyd says he was on the peds the floyd is 46-3 and thats not including the pacman fight were he got a gimme to take peds himself
Wow did you think of all of this crap on your own?
Like it or not he went 49-0.
We can go through every fighters record and say he should of could of or would of.
But the fact remains he went undefeated.

Oscar didn't come close to beating him. I also thought Castillo won.
A split decision is a close fight numb nuts and he did get beat by dlh, mayweather runs vegas and thats why he got decisions gave to him

The last thing Ward wants is a rematch.
Yeah, like most of us thought that he would never get into the ring the first time. Grab yourself by the collar and give yourself a good Moe slapping.
I was wrong about Ward not wanting the first fight. Now he has lost to Sergey and knows what the guy is about, Son of Judges definitely doesn't want a rematch. very obvious. Would love to be wrong again and for kov to beat his ass again.

How is it obvious that Ward does not want the rematch?
You are obviously one of many on here who have no understanding of what an ass beating entails.

How do you ruin Boxing when you're the biggest gate and PPV attraction of all time??? ... He left a bad taste with many by his performances. Most don't care
Mayweather is a smart businessman like George Foreman. They didn't love Boxing.. They loved money and being in the limelight.
Foreman fought 2nd rate challengers and kept the Lineal Heavyweight Title for 3 years fighting 4 inappropriate opponents... Many people who don't pay any attention to Boxing thought he was the real Heavyweight Champion... Meanwhile, most of the money he made came from hawking commercial products on TV, billboards, magazines, online, and in personal appearances...especially the grill.. He's still going at it 20 years later.. "People ask me all the time, George, what do I do with my idea for a new product?" ... I wonder what percentage of people who give Invent Help their money, ever actually get their product onto the market and make any money with it. I'd guess .05%.
Being a financial success and being the best boxer are 2 different things... People loved Dempsey and they didn't like Tunney.

I think that that a more accurate title to this post would have been "Did WE ruin Boxing". We are the ones that took the bait. Floyd did nothing but play us all like a fiddle. He used the pro wrestling model where the more hated you are the more people will pay to see you in pain. It worked masterfully and you see it's the same act that Conor is using to some degree.
It definitely hurt boxing but it was us that created and paid for this monster.

Nah, it started decades ago when HBO money and casino site deals enabled promoters to make bank and stop promoting. Local cards dried up and now the whole system way overpays the fighters. Floyd earned every dime of his money.

True, FMJ did earn his money. Now we can only pray to the omnipotent figments of our imaginations that he stays retired counting and spending it.
