Haye should be on there. He beat two guys with great records recently.

He will wallop Boomer, yet you have Boomer in top 10

You think you are so very very good and that we are so very very bad

I think Campbell has had a much stronger 2016 than Eubank Jr.

Joshua will overtake Campbell if he beats Molina this month.

He was world champion, and even though he was out his league vs Canelo he showed he's operating at a pretty good level, certainly put on a better showing than Khan. Seems obvious that Smith is a better fighter than the likes of Skeete.
Liam Smith's record is awful.

His best result is getting dominated and stopped by Alvarez.

He doesn't deserve a place in the top 30.

Joshua is far less credible than McDonnell.

Joshua is a pathetic world champion.

Luke Campbell is domestic class, he beat a couple domestic level gate keeper types.
I think a european title is about as good as Luke will get.

Joshua and CEJ might get stick for their choice of opponent but there is no question they are at very least fringe world level if not fully fledged world class.
Luke is Britains third best lightweight and that's only because Burns moved up a weight

And if we're ranking fighters on the strength of what they did in 2016, surely Fury isn't top 30, let alone no1

LancashireLoyal wrote:Stephen Smith should be in the top 30 but theres no reason why he should jump in 6 places straight away coming off the back of two losses and over the likes of walsh who is arguably a better fighter at the weight.
It's not clear who is the better of the two.

They should fight so we can find out.
LancashireLoyal wrote:Burnett should be out.Tyrone Nurse and Liam Williams should both be in with Nurse ahead.Andy Lee is hanging around like a bad smell hes doing nothing id think of even having skeete ahead of him.
Lee will probably fall out of the rankings in a few months time.

Skeetes win over Eggington is better than anything Liam Smith has done.

John Thompson who he beat for the WBO title was awful got sparked in 2 by an unknown not long before that. What's his best win Ochieng ?

Also Gallagher turned down the Andrade fight a couple of months before because he knows Liam Smith is far from world class.

Joshua winning a version of a world title trumps Campbell losing to the world no.26.

It's a big enough win to move Joshua up a bit.

It's a domestic level type of win.
