Warrington wants to fight in Elland Road but doesn't want to take the fights that are suitable for Elland Road. If he beats Ceylan, I await to see if he does actually fight Selby or has another fight in Leeds instead.
Warrington has instructed frank to get him selby. Frank makes a massive offer to selby. Team selby respond with ridiculous demands that are effectivly pricing themselves out, selby could of been fighting josh this week instead of ceylan but hes decided to sit at home with no fight on the horizon and no payday. Josh is now forcing the fight with this final eliminater. Saying youll wait to see if he does fight selby doesnt make sense.

What is with Lee Selby? Who does this kid think he is? He got himself into a decent position in Boxing, but it seems like he's just never gonna capitalize on it because he suddenly thinks he's some huge star or something.

I wouldn't think the kid is all that big of a draw anywhere, but maybe I'm wrong. Even if he is, inactivity and pricing yourself out of every somewhat significant fight sure ain't helping your career any.

This is often a misconception amongst boxing fans. Boxers generally dont have any say in who they fight where they fight when they fight and for how much. Most of the above is left to trainer manager and promoter. Most of the time to protect the boxer from himself. As most fighters would fight anybody anytime anywhere for peanuts. Thats why they are fighters

Not nice to chew him out on a public forum kid when he has very little say in who he fights or when he fights or for how much pay. Abuse his manager trainer promoter etc but not the lad himself. Hes a world champion ffs. And we should be proud of him

Lets not forget Warrington was offered the fight last year but turned it down because of his wedding, yet fought another opponent the same time.

For Selby all roads lead to a Frampton:Windsor Park showdown next year. That fight provides a pay packet and enhances legacy.

People see what they want to see.
Whilst it is correct to state that warrington was offered the fight and declined because of his wedding and then went on to fight hyland what is usually omited is that warrington did state that 6weeks notice wasnt enough time for him to prepare for someone of selbys calibre especialy when he had a wedfing going on he was quite happy to fight him 2 months later, which woukd of given him a 3 and half month camp with a wedding in between. Selby declined. Selby has also declined a more recent offer of top money
