I couldn't help listen to Wlad and feel a bit sorry for him. Yesterday's man, but will be fondly remembered for his career after AJ stops him IMO.

Well you can say Joshua hasn't had a fight for over a year. Let's face it he would be better getting decent sparring than fighting Molina last night. Charles Martin will go down as the worst belt holder in history and Breazeale we knew was poor anyway.

The only person to hit AJ back is Whyte a year a go. Sure Wlad was dominated by Fury but AJ hasn't got the movement of Fury. It was Furys low hands which confused Wlad. No one ever fights him like that and he couldn't see some of the punches coming due to the angles.

Joshua doesn't fight at all like that, it just depends whatWlad has left. Wlad of the Pulev fight absolutely destroys Joshua IMO.

It's not a certainty AJ stops him. Sure Wlad won't be as good as he was but will still have the power. If AJ goes for him early he leaves himself open to get taken out. Whyte wobbled him FFs and wlads power and technique is leagues above.

Even Wlad after 5 years out will be levels above Whyte.

I don't think Wlad will be fondly remembered. He'll be remembered for being incredibly boring.

Frock made interesting points, Vlads age and time out of the ring, coupled with Joshua being the real deal means a painful night for him.

It certainly helps Joshua somewhat – but at the same time I suppose WK's current level has an element of unknown about it as we've not seen him for so long, and he may have just had a bad night V Fury, who is much more awkward than Joshua anyway.

If WK lands a few heavy jabs early on, it will be interesting to see how Joshua reacts. His face when Whyte clipped him was almost disbelief that not only did an opponent throw a punch back but it actually hurt a little bit. Granted he settled down after a while and roared back, but Wlad carries far more power so interested to see how Joshua handles it.

no

wlad is a specimen like vitali. Vitali was out FOUR years before coming at 38 and in his 1st fight back won the wbc title
wlad is only out for 16m but has stayed in shape with 2 strong camps in 2016 before the pull outs.
wlad was always quicker on his feet than vitali too and a 41y wlad still has a better foot speed than Joshua

what i will say is Joshua has changed his style after the DW fight, where he uses his distance and jab alot more now
when DW shook AJ, AJ feet were stuck in concrete and his head was 10m infront of his feet. that would spell disaster vs wlad.

AJ doesnt have the footspeed, feints, and reach of FURY, so he can not beat WLAD how fury did. It can only be via knock out and early. AJ will have to jump on him quick.

but as i said AJ jab improved loads and used it well vs brezeale (who to be fair is shit)

Joshua might not be the real deal.

We will see, I stated Frochs views which aren't necessarily my own.
Wilder, Joshua a Parker are all very much unproven at top level.
Vladimir won't get any better, fury has out of ring problems, it is lottery who will come out on top.
Also Ortiz is not getting any younger and won't get Joshuas chances, and Haye won't get any better, and has been shown to be well short of Vladimir.

Wilder and Parker are significantly more proven than Joshua.

You weren't calling him that a year ago when Fury won.

I was being sarcastic.

It would be a very good win for Joshua.

This is a good point to be fair, Martin froze, Molina froze, Breazeale was a moving punch bag !

Indeed pal he was averaging like 10-12 punches against Fury, to his credit Tyson is one awkward mother trucker !
Mothertruck you lol had to say it!
