Taansend your regularly a funny fecker but that's the best anecdote everTaansend wrote:The Current scene is very childish & full of people trying so hard to be controversial & edgy. A few are ok but I doubt very much if the majority have ever boxed a day in their lives or been to a fight.
A bloke I rented a room out to in San Diego used to write on an archery forum. The c*nt had never fired a fcking arrow in his life but, for some unknown reason, reinvented himself as an archery expertIn reality he was a fat, smelly, 40 year old virgin who would spend his 3 days off in his underwear eating fast food & telling all & sundry the ins & outs of the bow & arrow world.

He would sit there arguing with people who had been to the Olympics.
He was incredibly lazy in real life. He would drive to a fast food place and, if they didn't have a drive through, would sit in his car waiting for the spot closest to the door to be available.
One time, on July 4th, I had a party in my back yard because you could see several firework displays from there. He sat on his computer looking at a computerised firework display because he couldn't be bothered to walk outside.
After I threw him out I put the cat litter box in his room to the air the room out a bit

I just purpously went on my most frequented Hearts website and got myself banned. I actually can't take reading any more ridiculous kneejerk reactions and people talking negatively about their own team.Taansend wrote:I write on a West Ham forum & have loads of arguments of there mainly because they are so effing miserableBoxerbeetle wrote:Taansend wrote: A bloke I rented a room out to in San Diego used to write on an archery forum. Reddit is the only other forum I visit regularly, and the above very much applies to loads of their users. I've had people insisting I'm wrong and arguing with me about things I am 100% sure about, and can back up with evidence. I've even had people say that something couldn't have happened, when I have recounted a story about something that has actually happened to me.
Some people must just want an argument, even when there isn't a proper argument to be had. Personally I have enough arguments in my real life without having to come online and start more!![]()
This players shite, that player isn't trying, sack the manager, the owners are the worst, blah, blah, blah. Just watch the f*cking games & be happy when we win & just get on with normal life when we lose.
The guy only called my a silly boy.
(I'd much rather someone called me a pudendum than something patronising)

Nevertheless it needs lighting up.

British and Irish isn't exactly a goldmine of riveting debate right now, is it?
