You still haven't said who Andy Ruiz has beaten to be ranked above Stiverne. Also, Whyte and Chisora above Stiverne is an automatic travesty. Chisora is shot and Whyte is on the level of a shot Chisora. Whyte is pretty awful.asdfjkl wrote:Hubeaux? Nofire? Bogdan? Spong? I rate them higher. And who has Stiverne himself beaten actually? Stiverne too low? I think I can name boxers that aren't even in the top 100 that can beat him.
Stiverne IS too low. Not sure how anyone can justify having Andy Ruiz above him as he hasn't beaten anyone yet.

I'm no fan of Stiverne, but he's a level above Whyte. I think he'd knock out Whyte. Whyte was getting wobbled by Chisora. Stiverne probably bombs him out.Horse wrote:Stiverne is awful.Mexi-Box wrote:You still haven't said who Andy Ruiz has beaten to be ranked above Stiverne. Ruiz was competative against Parker, so on the level of Takam. Stiverne was competative against Derric Rossy, who has lost by significant biggest numbers against Trevor Bryan. So Stiverne should be ranked 30 ish.Mexi-Box wrote:You still haven't said who Andy Ruiz has beaten to be ranked above Stiverne. Also, Whyte and Chisora above Stiverne is an automatic travesty. 1. Haye (from a British perspective, he's done Chisora and would again and he would wipe the floor with Whyte)
2. Hammer.
2. Hammer.

You assume he would, but Haye's done nothing worth anything in 4.5 years.davie wrote:1. Haye (from a British perspective, he's done Chisora and would again and he would wipe the floor with Whyte)
He doesn't deserve top be in the top 15.

I don't even believe you believe Chisora would beat Haye.
Put your hate away for a second

Because he has nice muscles and a lot of power, just like Joshua.

Undisputed cruiserweight champion, the last one to step up and win a heavyweight title in the era of superheavies.
He's a good fighter, simple as that
Your man Bellew, who consistently ranks too high on your top 30 list, how many rounds do you think he lasts against Haye? Seriously if he makes it past 6 i'll eat my own legs

So what?davie wrote:Undisputed cruiserweight champion, the last one to step up and win a heavyweight title in the era of superheavies.
That doesn't mean that he is still any good now.

Hardly an impressive achievement at heavyweight.
Haye's done nothing to prove that he is a top 15 level heavyweight since he beat Chisora 4.5 years ago and that's hardly an incredible win anyway.
Re: Updating the BOXREC Forum Heavyweight Rankings CLOSED
All depends on how you choose to rank. Objectively or Subjectively.
Haye probably beats Parker, Ruiz, Whyte, Chisora, Stiverne, Glazkov, Takam in my opinion and would think the bookies would have him favourite in those, toughest would be Parker. Pulev v Haye is pretty 50-50 I think.
I think when Haye had his inactivity and now has had only two fights there are question marks but if you make the case that Haye has not beaten any decent fighters recently, then how do you put Chisora in? His last decent win was a long time ago and he has a loss to Haye. Does anyone really think if they fought again Chisora would win?
The top 7 or so Heavyweights are all about the same in all the rankings, but there is a real weakness from 10 downwards.

The back up stats for the heavyweights outside the top 10 are terrible, most have resumes that include fighters like the recent Haye opponents.

Except for Glazkov and Stiverne, I'd be surprised if he would win actually nowadays.Lennox wrote:All depends on how you choose to rank. Objectively or Subjectively.

Re: Updating the BOXREC Forum Heavyweight Rankings CLOSED
I think this is very true, but I personally choose to rank boxers based on what they have done, rather than what they can do. For me, Haye barely makes top 50 based on his recent record, but taking into account his activity before his hiatus, I'd squeeze him inside the top 20, just not the top 15.Lennox wrote:All depends on how you choose to rank.
