All the above ended their careers in a pitiful manner -- losing very badly ... Floyd won every one of his fights and ended his career with another solid win.

Why is worth making a thread every time Mayweather says something stupid? He says something stupid every day I would imagine. Doesn't make it news.

You are the textbook example of an EMO boxing "fan"...it's all about emotions for you.
Fact is that Ali should have retired MUCH sooner. If he had he may still be alive today and in MUCH healthier condition than he was for his last 20 years. His massive ego and pride caused him to turn a deaf ear to the MANY supporters that told him he should have retired before fighting Spinks (either time), Holmes and Berbick.
Those last 4 bouts took 10-20 years off his life and health!!
