I'm not sold on Langford at all. Anytime I've seen him he's looked average at best. If BJS is even half fit he'll box his head off. BJS was utter dog shìt last time though so who knows if he's even taking the game seriously just now? Has he even got a proper trainer?

So Langford is planning to stand and fight. I suppose it is the only rational strategy based on his skillset. However with that gameplan his chances are slim.

Looking forward to this one
I haven't been particularly impressed by Langford and rate Khurt higher based on what I've seen, but the Georgian is nearly 40 and has been inactive for 13 months.

Watched the Khurtsidze Douglas fight over the weekend.
Khurtsidze is like a big version of Kiko Martinez. Just non stop aggression but he is quite slow with punches and with him being short you have to watch out for head clashes.
There needs to be a good ref here as Langford may resort to a lot of holding to slow a Khurtsidze down.
This is a proper acid test for Langford though. If Langford has any vulnerability then Khurtsidze will expose it.
However I do think Khurtsidze's defence is poor and his aggressive style leaves him open to a massive shot as he is coming in. Langford finding that one monster lunch may be his best chance of winning.

Went for the Georgian dude by KO. Can see it being a long, hard night for Langford resulting in a late stoppage/towel coming in. You know what you're going to get with Khurtsidze but personally I don't think Langford has enough about him to deal with it. If he has it's going to take something we've not yet seen from him before.
All the best to him. I hope he finds another level and pulls it off but it's a tough one. Looking forward to it.

Ive not seen Khurtsidze that I'm aware of, seems he's another "Mini Tyson" I hear, apart from knocking out Douglas in his last fight there's no wins to write home about, the N'Jikam loss is no disgrace but still its hard to tell if he's any good, he looks strong and small which could trouble the taller Langford whilst punching downwards
I thought Langford drew with Speedy last time out because he seemed to fade which surprised me as his engine is one of his main assets, i'd expect him to start at a high tempo against the older Khurtsidze, I just hope he can sustain it and not let Khurtsidze walk him down in the later rounds
Its hard to predict without seeing much of Khurtsidze but i'd expect either Langford to outbox him to a decision or maybe even see Khurtsidze impose his strength on Langford and stop him
I'm hoping for a Langford win but i'll got with Khurtsidze to stop him mid to late

Daniel Dubois vs Blaine Menduo added to this card! Anyone know the opponent? Lost to Sam Hyde on points and went to 2012 Olympics, but does anyone know his style?
Hasn't got a KO or been KO'd so could be a good test.

Was going over Khurtsidze's record again there (bored) and it says he's only 5'4?? I've seen him a couple of times and knew he was short but 5'4? Surely that must be a mistake.....

I am not the one to draw too many conclusions form a press conferences but Langford looks terrified.

I've got to go for Khurtsidze by stoppage.
He's been fighting for a while, he's stopped his last 5 opponents, hasn't lost since 2010 and at his age you can't count out the fact that this could be one of the last big chances of his career so he will come in to win and send a message to the champions while doing it.
