I'm fully aware that Hatton is the draw. That was always obvious, when did I say otherwise?
This is exactly the problem though, Hatton knows he is the draw, and I think that curtails his willingness to do anything unless it is on his terms. Let's see what Hatton has to say about all this. Surely if he really wanted this fight he would have been slating allegedly again, saying his negotiations had nawsed it up. Hatton seems perfectly happy with the way things have worked out though, which would seem to indicate that he isn't that bothered.
I admit that Vivian took the piss. It would set a bad precedent if Warren was seen to simply cave in to his ridiculous demands, and as I have said elsewhere
The bottom line though is that Hatton isn't fighting for the title and is instead taking on a joke opponent. All the rest of this shit is superflulous, yet again we are talking about fights that haven't happened, rathen than one which is about to happen.
Ricky could wind up being the richest fighter never to hold a genuine world title belt, however, will he be remembered as one of Britiain's greatest fighters? Not on his current achievements.
