No threats, no shouting, no talk, you threaten him and you get cracked.
Chisora got a right hander an elbow strike to the back of the head and dropped, Bellew gets a swift left hook.
A marked contrast to the self styled 'fighting man' Fury, who makes a lot of noise ('call me a clown again') chucks his clothing on the floor and does sod all.

[quote="Kro"]Talking of 'distasteful' I read recently that Bellew is currently weighing around 225lbs, when you consider what a flaccid, pudgy specimen he is a 200lbs I dread to think how gross he is with another 25lbs on him.[/quote

Thanks. And the public are being sold a pig in a poke but they will accept it. Bellend has almost zero chance and he knows it. I imagine at the end of the fight, David Haye will have the same look on his face as he has when putting out the rubbish. No excitement, just taking care of everyday business.Kro wrote:Great postboxingknockout wrote:Bellend is a classic, hypocritical bully and crapping it. All the classic signs of a bully backtracking and changing the story. It's a lot of money and Bellend shouldn't do it, but I think he knows he's in over his head, has bitten off more than he can chew and may pull out. The fight ends when Haye wants to end it. In the real world Daffy Duck went to several of his fights and continually supported his opponents, placed his fist in Bellew his face because he got scared, outside the ring btw. And now it's Bellew who's kn another planet? Daffy Duck should be in prison for his actions.emallini wrote:Bellew tried to get out of the ring to attack Haye. Wtf is he talking about? Cleverley, stevenson flores and now haye, bellend always tries to throw his weight around remember flores weigh in? "Carry on mate and you wont make it home" was this a threat to a trainer or followers life? And he cries like haye is saying something that he has never even thought or said himself? "I will represent this sport to the best of my ability,i wont drag this sport through the mud" "we are professiinal athletes" so why doesnt the ffuckin ddickhead act like an athlete and act like a professional? Cause he is a street thug bully and no matter how much you try and wear a suit, grow your hair put a bit of gel on it and try to get the scouse slang out your voice he will always be a street thug and my examples prove my point ;)asdfjkl wrote:In the real world Daffy Duck went to several of his fights and continually supported his opponents, placed his fist in Bellew his face because he got scared, outside the ring btw. Bellew taking an oddly passive role ever since the opening press conference.
Playing the victim role already.

Bellew loves playing the victim at the moment
Re: Tony Bellew reveals David Haye's 'distasteful' comments during The Gloves Are Off
You have elite british fighters then you have your A level B Level so on and so on,haye an elite fighter and bellew is a B+ fighter, yes he has won all there is to win as a pro but he didnt fight the main man for the commonwealth cause cleverley vacated it to persue his world title course, the british title was also vacated by the man from the valleys,he failed twice in an attempt to win a lhw world title, moves up to cruiserweight and falls into another vacant european title fight then has another vacant world title fight against supposedly the most avoided guy in the cruiserweught division? Iv never heard of him and he didnt look much to me. My point is he has never won a title off the champion, the guy is a mouth on legs that carries POWWWWWAAAA but fact is he has never beaten a champion

i think its a fairly consistent psychological trait in some people, they love to dominate and bully but if that fails the victim-type act comes out quite quicklynitro5912 wrote:Bellew loves playing the victim at the moment
not too different, a mate i used to have, every single story he ever told that involved himself, he was always either the absolute hero or victim. never any neutral or middle ground to it, never just a story for its own sake, always had to show himself in a particular light, preferably hero but failing that victim would do

A word like distasteful coming from the mouth of one of the mouthiest scousers on the planet, tells me that Bellew realises what he's in for and is now filling his pants!

Ha ha - looks like Boomer has changed tactics and is now going for the sympathy vote and playing the victim card - as said before, typical tactics when a bully feels bullied.big lennox wrote: @mrdavidhaye making a mockery of another mans downfall once again you stupid helmet, you have zero class about you! This is professional boxing not WWE... Haye is an idiot with his antics outside of the ring.Kro wrote:Firstly; when I made my 'no messing with Haye' comment I was referring to him defending himself OUTSIDE the ring, I even gave a couple of examples to illustrate my point.liamlion wrote:You do realise it was Haye who bottled two fights with Fury, dont you?... Secondly; Haye was injured on both occasions he pulled out of the Fury fights (or did he fake the surgery that kept him out of the ring for nearly four years?)
Having been the full distance with the (then) far more dangerous Klitschko why would he avoid a very lucrative clash with a feather fisted, arm puncher.
The surgery kept him from fighting for 4 years, did it? Or did he just not fancy the game for that period? The bottom line is that he signed to fight Fury twice and he pulled out twice.
I have no doubts that Fury can handle himself out of the ring and to suggest that he is somehow soft for not swinging at opponents in face-offs is plain daft.
Re: Tony Bellew reveals David Haye's 'distasteful' comments during The Gloves Are Off
I do think Bellew relishes the drama. He could easily be a reality tv star after his fighting days are over. Getting into moods, having arguments about nominations and who's making breakfast

He's shitting himself and is shocked by how confident Haye is when they came face to face. I think that's the turning point that made Bellend realise he had no chancebripez wrote:Ha ha - looks like Boomer has changed tactics and is now going for the sympathy vote and playing the victim card - as said before, typical tactics when a bully feels bullied.big lennox wrote: @mrdavidhaye making a mockery of another mans downfall once again you stupid helmet, you have zero class about you! Where Fury's out of the ring conduct has always been impeccable? If anyone can be accused of WWE antics it's that witless oaf Fury.
liamlion wrote:The surgery kept him from fighting for 4 years, did it? Or did he just not fancy the game for that period? The bottom line is that he signed to fight Fury twice and he pulled out twice.
I had arthoscopic surgery (subacromial decrompression, bursectomy) to my left shoulder in April 2015, nearly two years on I still don't have full function of the shoulder. Hayes surgery was far more serious than mine, so yes I can believe it kept him out of the ring for four years.
And just how many fights has Fury pulled out of now? The litany of excuses being; unwell uncle, bad ankle, depressed etc etc
Of course he can he is a 'fytin man' (purportedly) but he does have a track record of making a lot of noise, handing out threats, then allowing himself to be 'restrained' by his cohorts.liamlion wrote:I have no doubts that Fury can handle himself out of the ring and to suggest that he is somehow soft for not swinging at opponents in face-offs is plain daft.
Blimey, I've had problems with my right shoulder for the last year, same thing, shoulder impingement, I was close to going for the op, but just about seem to be managing it with physio every day right now, glad I didn't go for the op.

Bellew is going to get rinsed out, I'd be surprised if he makes it to round 2. The first flush shot and he's gone.
I'm no big fan of Haye, but he can hit, he annihilated Chisora with one punch, and prior to that, Derek had always looked extremely durable.
