Is there anyone particularly tough who you fought in the amateurs that you'd like to fight in the pros? How do you feel you're handling the transition? Couple of guys in my old gym turned pro at the same time and took a wee bit of time adapting. You seem to have landed feet first.
Lomachenko went for a world title early bells. What's the chances of you doing the same? Both similar situations.

All joking aside. Half the worlds population are woman. For any industry to survive or improve woman are very much needed. Katie Taylor can actually fight (heard she beat up Frankie Gavin?). So hopefully she'll set a new standard and investment into woman's boxing.

All the best on Saturday Katie
Firstly , my previous comments which have been took down , about watching women athletes , was tongue in cheek , just messing ... Although i will admit i'm not a lover of womens boxing , wrestling , or in fact any sport where women hurt each other . But if a woman is going to do it and put the time , effort , and pain into being the best they can , they deserve the best rewards ,KatieTaylor wrote:V Holm Thats another story for another time @Stuarty30 - just 1kg diff. Rousey Vs Taylor is a none starter. Rousey wouldn't last a round against Taylor in a boxing match. A fight with Holly Holm would make good money though but that would be too early for Taylor. Even though the fight would be more than winnable given Taylors amateur background.coneye wrote:Firstly , my previous comments which have been took down , about watching women athletes , was tongue in cheek , just messing ... In your case Katie , i don't know whats planned , but at 31 this year , time is'nt on your side , a showdown with Rousey or Holm , would be the way to go money wise , promote it has the sort of female , Mayweather - Mgregor ,,, Ireland - USA ,, Boxer - kickboxer (boxing rules of course ), with the amount in the USA who love there irish heritage , it could be a money spinner . In fact with the right promotion it would be ppv all over the world , and lets have it right once you join the punch for pay ranks , its all about the money

Holly Holm is a southpaw with record of 33 wins and 2 losses. The fight would also have to be made at welterweight. The negotiations would be a nightmare too with Holm contracted to the UFC.

Be nice to chat to more fighters on here.
Women's MMA is so much more reputable today than it was even a few years ago. Hopefully women's boxing can do the same. It's needs a star.PredatorHayds wrote:Not seen much of women's pro boxing but Katie Taylor was the best female amateur I've ever seen when I followed the aiba code.
This thread means I will now follow the code professionally.
Great to have a women at the top of her game posting here. Good luck Saturday![]()
Maybe it's time for boxing websites and magazines to start publishing ranking.
Be nice to see women's rankings appear in boxing news even if it's only quarterly to start with.
