Parker making $1.8M. Hughie $1.2M.
So Hughie Fury faces a UK Anti-Doping Authority hearing for alleged use of the prohibited steroid nandrolone, in mid April, and is due to fight Jospeph Parker on May 6th.Naandrew wrote:You lot may want a read of this

Meanwhile his father, who served 9 years for drug related offences, is lobbying the NZ government to be allowed into the country.
Oh joy!
I remember reading what I considered at the time just forum speculation about possible Hughie Fury drug use. But I don't remember it being backed by any references at the time.Naandrew wrote:Well it does seem to be picked up by NZ media after the mail reported it.
parkers fans won't have known about this where as any British boxing fan have been aware for a while and most have generally forgotten as it has barely been reported in the media since.
Glad NZ press are mentioning it it's not fair to advertise a fight which there is a good chance of it not happening. Then again it's not officially been announced yet.
Hughie Fury is Parker's mandatory and Parker had no real choice other than to fight him. Parker twiddled his thumbs long enough while Hearn stuffed him around late last year to know he has to play his own hand and not just sit back and wait on Hearn and Joshua.coneye wrote:His Dad won't be allowed in NZ and so he should'nt , laws the law and there for everyone , fight will not happen , if it does happen in the UK . Parkers team are silly , considering the blatant bad home town discisions that have been coming out of the UK recently ,, Britain seems to have well overtook Germany in this regard ... Parker would be throwing his belt away .
Parker does'nt need to fight and beat Hughie to get a crack at AJ , That will all depend on wether or not Hearn thinks he's a big enough threat , Parkers name is already up there with the elite , in fact a bad show against Hughie would dampen his chances . What Parker needs to get that fight is a few more KO'S and public opinion will make it happen .
Just what i'm saying he does'nt need to fight Fury ,, Let them pull out , don't go to the UK , fight a few more in NZ get the ko's up and Hearn will have to put AJ in with either Wilder or Parker , there won't really be anyone else big enough for PPVLike a Boss wrote:Hughie Fury is Parker's mandatory and Parker had no real choice other than to fight him. DUCO have done the right thing by gaining Parker the home advantage against Fury, and if Fury can't, or won't come, stiff, Parker moves on to another opponent. Probably someone he can knock over easily and impressively.

The mirror reported it in June last year that they both tested positive for nandrolone in 2015 UKAD only charged them a couple of days before the article.Like a Boss wrote:I remember reading what I considered at the time just forum speculation about possible Hughie Fury drug use. Somehow news of Hughie's possible transgressions have been suppressed in this part of the world. At least until recently.
It really looks like Fury has dogged this fight.Tinnie wrote:Cant blame Duco for being filthy on Fury and his handlers. Claims of injury, frankly reek of bs.
Lucas Browne has put his hand up as a replacement. Could well save the card, dont think they'll get a better offer on a weeks notice.
I have no idea what came of Brownes second positive test tbh. I remember him demanding they look into the supplements he was using, not heard anything since. And nah no ranking either.Like a Boss wrote:It really looks like Fury has dogged this fight.Tinnie wrote:Cant blame Duco for being filthy on Fury and his handlers. As for Lucas Browne. Firstly I'm not even sure if he is allowed to fight yet. Secondly, he wouldn't have a rating with any of the organisations would he?
The WBO want someone ranked in their top 15 and some of those guys are putting their hands up. Beazeale for instance.Tinnie wrote:I have no idea what came of Brownes second positive test tbh. But Browne did put his hand up though and i dont think there are a helluva lot of options
