If someone starting up a boxing promotional company goes on a forum for advice it gives you a definate insight into that persons lack of experience.
Promoters with a lot of experience and with good stables of boys find it really tough without tv.
I'm guessing you won or inherited the money?

With this sort of attitude towards your potential punters, I can't see how you can possibly fail mate. All the best.

On another note, I think local boxing shows need to stop being prospect vs journeyman. More needs to be made of area belts etc. Who's the cock of Manchester? How about the Manchester title, Leeds champion etc. Would be fun. Needs a rebrand at the lower level to keep it fun and competitive, I feel there are too many prospects being built up on journeymen for 10-15 fights - those sorts of shows don't appeal to me at all.
Some promoters seemed to be obsessed with protecting their big ticket sellers in the fear that one defeat could go make their fans desert them. Actually, I've seen a few small hall fighters who have a big following because of their up and down careers. Likes of Floyd Moore and Nicky Jenman are good examples.

Can you stop being a child, please? Either contribute nicely to your topic or just leave it alone.

I hope this guy does get something off the ground. I know people have questioned his 250k, however I hope he does have that. In fact I hope it's 250mil. He's sure to spunk every single penny of it and end up penniless with this sort of attitude and grasp of the situation.
