Eubank Jr loses his pen when it comes time to sign the contract, takes to social media to berate Degale, then fights his next door neighbour for the Weetabix 171lb title.

Eubank's not got enough pop and would be competitive but Degale's movement and raiding in and out would cause trouble for CEJ.
EJ likes plodders and one-dimensional opponents right smack in front of him to show off against.
He might as well fight a slam man next. That way he will have more time to pose at the ropes into the audience.

Thoughts and predictions?
He wants DeGale like he wanted GGG. What he wants his to talk smack about a more famous fighter, and then wet himself and run away as soon as a contract is handed him.
He aint fighting DeGale. Unless they can find some geriatric bin man from Coventry called Bob DeGale.

Yeah, I find it laughable that people think he can get away with all that against top level fighters.G0mez wrote:AgreedTheDarkDestroyer wrote:The only chance Eubank would have is when Degale takes time off, but I don't think he's good enough to make it matter, Degale has been in there with some decent punchers, and I don't think Eubank punches hard enough to make Degale worry.G0mez wrote:Degale is pretty touch and has a dig on him, plus he is naturally bigger.

DeGale will make him miss a lot, and will hurt him with counters.

Can`t see the fight happening. If it did then you have to make Chunky a big favourite.
Eubank is great in the pocket though and does a lot a damage close on the inside. He lacks power though and Degale has shown a solid chin so far in his career.
The only way I could see Eubank with a chance is if he fights hard for 36 minutes and forces the pace constantly. He has a great engine, but can he do it for 36 mins? He takes a lot of breathers with his posing and strutting. We have all seen Degale take far too much time off in fights as well, far too much.
If Eubank can keep it on him non stop (a big ask) sheer volume might get him the win on points.
