Porter has drawn with people Khan beat so I don't hold him all that high regard. Spencer is a prospect not a title holder, and landing a few punches before getting stopped in early is no better than Khan winning the rounds against canelo before being put to sleep.

Khan has then faced and beaten Diaz who drew with porter, maidana, Judah, kotelnic, Alexander, maliagnagi, collazo, algeri, and an aging Barrera.

Who's brooks best win after porter and spencer? Senchenko? Gavin?
I thought the boxing community had agreed never to mention this fight ever again. Aging is an understatement and the way it was stopped was atrocious too. A real disaster of a fight
Yeah, disgusting fit up job. Should have been a no contest.

Thing was, Barrera hurt him with a jab as well. Had he not been cut, I'd have liked to have seen how that panned out.

Same. It wasn't easy watching that jumped up little prick in with Barreras one eyed shadow!

I've often thought he'd have done Khan over in the end, after surviving the initial stages - only a prime Pacquaio at his destructive best ever did a real number on him, and Khan's not a puncher at any weight he's fought at.

I think Barrera would have got to him too. He was starting to time him with one eye and then out of nowhere, it's stopped. If that cut was on Khan, that fight carries on

Yes, the cut wasn't any worse than it had been, so there was no reason to stop it then, except for the fact they wanted to wait until 4 rounds were completed otherwise it would have been a no contest or is a TD, I forget which now.

That stunk the joint out.

Someone mentioned Khan being 24 when he last won a world title, he won his first at 21.
:shame: Not true. Khan at 21 was getting floored by Gomez and KTFO by Prescott.
Okay so he was 22,.. what was Brook doing at 22? He had just won the vacant British welterweight title.
Khan won title fights between 22 and 24 but now he's better known for his talking and w@nking.

I know little else of Spence but just how good is he? I like Kell and this figjt is better than JoJo Dan but how will he cope draining that weight off.
You never fully know until they're matched at the top, but I think Spence is a supreme talent. Great body puncher, speed, power. I think if the fight happens he will blow everyone away when he lambastes Brook.

I have a suspicion that spence would do him at 147, though for me the weight would be part of that I do think spence is just better, proven or not.
