Watford? Tyson comes from one of the most notorious families out there and spent his entire childhood visiting maximum security prisons. If anyone was going to be a wrong un, it was him. AJ does get a lot more respect than he deserves for having a belt bought for him.
Yep Tyson deserves respect for staying on the straight and narrow.
I'm not a big AJ fan particularly but in his defence he can't help it if the media feed the casuals enough hype to convince them that he's the number one heavyweight out there. He certainly deserves respect for winning an Olympic gold and for doing everything asked of him so far in the pro game.
And to strip it down to its bare bones a convicted drug dealer who's eschewed a life of crime and become a success in a sport that needs a massive level of commitment and determination has to be respected as a man doesn't he ?
He's growing on me, but again, I thought he got well beaten in the first phase of the olympics and should never have been there in the first place after getting kicked off the squad! He's had it on a plate.

And he tweeted this recently which makes no sense

They've been quiet recently. Why wouldn't he sign when it is a career high purse and a world title fight ?
Also still nothing in the UKAD hearing which took place over two weeks ago.

Weird goings on. Well, it's boxing so not that weird I guess. Will this actually happen?
It's a real strange situation. Not much being said about it, Hughie doesn't really 'deserve' any sort of title shot if we are being honest, and the drug thing just adds even more to it all.

Peter Fury can't even get into New Zealand due to his criminal record. As soon as Parker's team won the purse bid I think every right-minded person probably realised the chances of the fight happening were immediately shrunk quite drastically.
Despite all this the biggest joke with the whole fight has been Hughie getting into that position. What on earth has he possibly done to deserve it?

Bang on
Hughie is only in this position because he is promoted by FW now.
Let's wait and see what happens later today. The WBO are probably getting fed up they will want their sanctioning fee.

Can't help thinking the same. But really hoping it goes ahead, want to finally find out how good Hughie is.

That's being a bit petty. Plenty of kids from the hood do silly things when they're young - AJ's turned his life around through sheer hard work.
NB Adam Smith and co spunking their pants in a studio doesn't amount to national acclaim.
"the hood" hes from effing Watford not Compton

I'm more interested in UKAD confirming whether the Furys are drug cheats or not it's been going on two years yet no answers and also no fights for ever fighter since it was made public.
