These bouts saw him in with aggresive opponent looking for a brawl and in both cases he controlled his man masterfully with a more fluent boxing style.
I'm very impressed and my opinion of King Carlos has risen greatly.
Very few fighters can look so brutal and effective on the attack and also box so fluently and still put the punches together on the back foot

Considering in the previous bouts I'd seen him in, the jab didn't seem a major part of his repertoire, it was certainly expertly deployed against Valdez and particularly Briscoe.handsofstone wrote:One of the best jabs ever??
