There is never going to be a perfect condition Fury again and I am not into fantasy match ups. So I say this, if they ever fight Joshua will beat Fury.

Was there ever "a perfect condition Fury?"
Tbh, I always liked TyFu, but he is never going to be king of the hill again.

I've opted for Joshua KO, probably inside the first half of the fight.
All we know about Joshua is that he is an accurate big puncher that has one pace, which is high. His punch output is pretty high, and he counters extremely well.
All we know about Fury, in my opinion, is that he could beat a guy over 12 rounds that didn't throw a punch in anger. Fury may well be more skilled than Joshua, but this is heavyweight boxing, and the bigger puncher will always win. What's Fury going to do for 12 rounds? Avoid the fight?

The bigger puncher always wins? I think that statement will be quite hard to prove as it is demonstrably false. Fury has also shown he can box for 12 rounds and overcome hardship in the ring. He has dealt with pressure, power, and speed. AJ has yet to show he can do any of that at Fury's level.

But Twinkle Toes Pernell Fury can just dance for 12 rounds, Joshua wouldn't land a glove on him, reason being Joshua is unproven!

If the bigger puncher always won, Fury would have lost nearly every fight he's ever been in.

Well mine was a realistic assessment of what both fighters have
actually proven and not a guess based on preconceived biases or personal ignorance.

Well, just seen AJ vs Klit head to head and the hype train is intimidated by the old, slow, unable to throw a punch former champion who hasnt fought for 2 years and is over 40 years old. A bit of reality has hit home I think.

Yes thats what I meant too. I dont think he will ever be on the level he was before. His prime years are behind him sadly. Actually I doubt he returns to the ring at all.

If Fury recaptures the form he produced against Vlad, my money will be on him.
We will only see how Joshua performs at a higher level when he gets his shot against the Ukranian.

The fury that fought wlad would be lucky to last 3 rounds.

Totally understand your logic. Whyte and Brazeale stood right in front of him and lasted more than double that. AJ wouldn't land a single punch on the Fury that fought Wlad and would retire on his stool, exhausted.

Wlad has a much worse chin than both of them. And Joshua seems to have a decent engine, it's hard to imagine him quitting on his stool against Fury, particularly if Fury lands the same as he did against Wlad (i.e. basically fvck all).

Fury wins by stoppage in about nine rounds.

Chisora hurt Whyte several times, and Mansour put DB down faster than AJ did. Hell, Eric Molina, stopped twice in the first, was about 50 seconds away from lasting 3.
Fury wouldnt at all be lucky to make it past that.
