There was rumour he was signing with Haye ?

Joe Joyce sounding like he'll be announced very soon, as a fighter under Schaefer & Haye's Ringstar Hayemaker promotions.

David Allen on Twitter said he'd be offered to fight him on his debut in a 10 rounder, very game if I may say. Would think about matching him for the English or Southern Area first.

Don't think Joyce will make a brilliant pro tbh but we'll see

Let's not forget, all the WSOB experience for Joe Joyce over the last few years. Over 5 rounds without headgear - he had around 16 fights.

It's his pro debut we are talking about, but still, he's not exactly a fish out of water if he was to go straight into a 10 rounder.

As Scott D says he has essentially done the equivalent of his first 10 pro fights in WSOB expect him to be moved quick a la Usyk ( who he has already shared the ring with )

I'm sure Haye has a press conference tomorrow to announce plans for Hayemaker Ringstar Promotions. No idea if that includes details of their TV deal.

Easy to forget how big JJ is, the photo at Wimbledon with Haye , he dwarfs him!

Allen seems English level to me

Yeah on reflection probably! But he may give Joyce a tougher time than say, Tom Little.

Dave Allen is bang average - he wouldn't be worst punch bag for Joyce.

Winning Record and a profile - he'd build it on Social Media for them.

I don't think Allen has really improved since he stank the building out struggling with Jason Gavern - it's just Sky and backing that's gave him profile.

Hearn just about handed him the chance of Commonwealth Title and he messed it up.

Yes he got beaten on points by Usyk who moved up to super heavy, though I though Usyk struggled a bit with the size difference.

He is considered a bit 'old' for someone turning over but I would certainly suggests **at this stage** he's a few levels above Daniel 'Son of Bruno' due to experience.

Joe Joyce has a fantastic engine.

He has a work rate rarely seen for a man his size.

He's turning over with Hayes new outfit, I'd expect a couple of softer touches before they fight someone like Allen.

I think he will be a fantastic pro. I expect him to be inbetween euro-world class.

Looking forward to see what TV platform they have.
Could Haye be putting them out on DAVE? All jokes aside, apart from the shoddy presentation the exposure and viewing figures worked well.

Speaking of the Commonwealth title, if Joyce was to deal with Allen comfortably in his first few fights I'd like to see him target Lenroy Thomas. Winning that belt quickly would be a bit of a statement and if the Allen/Thomas scorecards were accurate (still haven't watched the fight), then Thomas shouldn't be a massive risk.

Allen in first 3 fights would be good. In view of Joyce's age they need to move fast.

Allen, Thomas, and a Sexton or Cornish in his first 5 would be a good start. I think he's probably ready for those guys now, though maybe a quick feeler to get used to pro gloves, etc. would help.

Yes, very good engine for such a big and busy man. I'd say the best of his SHW amateur cohort...

I rate Joyces chances in the pro ring. He should surpass likes of Dillian Whyte and Dereck Chisora with no problems. I dont know if he has enough to beat top guys yet, we have to see how he looks first but I wont exclude it at all.

I think him signing for Schaefer/Haye is a good move. With Hearn he would always be a second fiddle and Warren is just not on the level in my opinion.
