Good fight, although perhaps suffered from not continuing in the same vein as the first couple of rounds which were outstanding. Thurman deserved the win for me, Garcia too static and his workrate was too low.

I thought Thurman boxed well and deserved the win.

I also had Thurman 116-112.
Good technical fight. I thought Thurmans aggression put Garcia under pressure from a early stage. Garcia was unable to land his flashy counters as much as normal.
I've got a feeling we will see Thurman-Broner next.

A huge shame this fight has been overshadowed by Saturday night's pantomime. Thought this forum was for hardcore fans
Re: Danny Garcia vs Keith Thurman
Thurman did well, the pro-Garcia commentary didn't really help things. I thought Danny Garcia got made to look like a fairly basic plodder by the slicker, quicker-footed Thurman who did well with an in-and-out style landing flashy bunches of punches.
Overall the fight did get a little dull by the end, but Garcia just didn't really have an answer, so Thurman just kept doing what was working and who could really blame him.
Not a classic, but far better than the farce of 2 overhyped British guys.

The fight started so well that I felt we were about to witness something special, but Thurman used tactics that spoiled the fight somewhat, however, boxing on the back foot was effective. Garcia looked much better when Thurman came to him.
Very close fight, could have gone either way for my money.
