$15m is a load of money, certainly several times GGG's career high, and I think it might be worth taking if theres no budge on the other side. A win would probably significantly boost his earning power and profile.
Possibly, but would Golovkin not also get his share of that to add to his $15m? As I say I'm not entirely sure so could well be talking out of my arse.
And again iirc it was reported here that Khan made about £8-9m. Not sure how that translated to US Dollars at the time because the £ has fluctuated a fair bit recently.
The alleged 15 million offer is a flat fee. If they did 2 million buys he'd get 15 million.
That changes things then. I was working off the logic that that would be his guarantee before PPV revenue.

Just for those that are being silly:
This isn't the first offer GBP has made to K2.
A potential Golovkin-Canelo PPV won't achieve anywhere near half the amount of buys as the Mayweather-Pacquiao PPV,

Because Danny wanted more money than he is worth.

Nah, it's HBO's budget.

Unreal that boxing is so low that even meager matchups are a regular PPV feature. The fighters and fans deserve better.

Nowhere to put them in the states. I've long said boxers being overpaid was the biggest problem in the sport here and it's all coming to a head now.

You seem to be contradicting yourself. When I said that Jacobs wanted too much money, you replied "Nah, it's HBO's budget." Now you are saying that boxers want too much money ... It must be a Texas logic

No contradiction, Jacobs isn't asking for too much money in the marketplace. The marketplace is too high all around. HBO's budget is next to nothing, that's why they aren't doing shit.

As per my previous posts about this, you're boxing fans ffs. What is it to you how much GGG earns? Fans should want to see this fight no matter who gets paid what.
