That's probably the same guy that wrote piece a few weeks ago on Reece McFadden describing him as the cheeky chappy that everybody loved from the commonwealth games. He obviously got him mixed up with Charlie Flynn.

Probably the same guy. I think he's just a generic sports journo. I don't think he specialises in boxing. If he does then he should be strung up!

I enjoyed watching McFadden more than Flynn in the games. He seems to have went off the radar. Not been too impressed with Flynn so far in the pros. Hopefully there's more to come because he's a character.

I've watched him a few times mate. Neglects his boxing and seems to want to get involved too much when he's not even a noted puncher. I don't know if he's trying too hard to impress because of all the publicity after the games?

I that's just journalism in general to be honest, you have people who know nothing about a subject expected to write about it. I doubt many papers or news papers have dedicated boxing writers these days.
