I can think of at least two - Hamed v McCullough and Lewis v Akinwande

Honeyghan defeated Gene Hatcher in Spain to retain his WBC and IBF belts, at a bullring if I remember correctly which was postponed for a day.

Are we counting minor titles? If so, didn't Courtney Fry fight Roy Jones for some bullshit Cruiserweight World title in Latvia?

Are we counting interim belts? Brian Magee won the wba in Costa Rica if I recall correctly...

Jonny Caldwell fought Eder Jofre in Brazil.

I was the same but had Chic Calderwood up my sleeve and only because my first boxing trainer fought him so I was familiar with him.

Now that guy (my trainer) had a rich history. Fought for the British & Commonwealth titles in the 60's, sparred Archie Moore, had to jump out of a window after a bout once, became a stuntman and beat up Dirty Den on Eastenders and then died playing cricket for our home town.

Well done. I must admit I'd wondered about McGowan as I have the programme for his rematch with Chionoi somewhere but I really wasn't too sure.
