Really looking forward to this fight, I'm glad to see Burns finally get a unification before he hangs them up or slips from the top level, its a bit of a conundrum how this will play out, Indongo's blowout of Troyanovsky was very impressive but that's all ive seen its hard to tell if it was a freak or Julius can fight, Ricky showed his usual heart and determination against Relikh but I thought he lost by a point, still his will to win is up there with anyone in boxing and even nearing his mid 30s his engine is tremendous, he gets busier as fights progress, he does have a tendency to start slow though but then again he's always been like that, the broken jaw he suffered against Beltran has had no lasting effect either

As far how this fight will play out its difficult to tell not knowing much about Indongo apart from being a tall, rangy southpaw who can KO fighters cold, I remember Burns fought another undefeated southpaw Jose Gonzalez and really struggled before Gonzalez quit as Burns drive seemed to break him down, knowing Burns I'm expecting him to have tough moments but he'll find his way and close the gap down the stretch

I fancy Burns to get the nod on points but have a feeling a lot of us will have Indongo the deserved winner

I've gone for Burns based on level of opposition he's faced in his last two fights but looking at who Indongo beat I really can't say Burns is going to win for sure.

The man Indongo beat for the IBF & IBO belts was undefeated in 25 fights with 22 ko wins to his name and had defended the belt's twice after winning them, and Indongo stopped him in one round.

Both men are 34, Burns is in his second world title reign at a bigger weight then his first title run. Indongo is in his first world title reign and his first defence is a unification with Burns. It's a big occasion for both men and really it could go either way on fight night.

Indongo is a free swinger, kind of like Mayorga. He's crude but Burns isn't exactly the type who can punish him for it. He will have to cover up andet Indongo swing. I think Indongo could win the rounds just on activity alone.

Could be some rocky moments early as this guy will be throwing bombs, he will be so confident after that sensational title win, but I'll take the massively experienced Burns to outsmart him over 12...but I wouldn't bet on this fight because there is a lot of wear and tear on Ricky ...really hope he wins though, they should call him the Cinderella man.

This fight will just be a repeat of either bellew vs makabu or crolla vs barroso. Both were foreign imports that were called beasts and turned out to be nothing special, indongo has a very poor resume (can't count a 30 sec one punch KO). Burns with a late KO around round 10 after wearing him down

No one has called Indingo a beast though. All any poster on the forum will have seen of him is a 40 second fight.

I don't think this fight can be predicted Indingo is either going to be the real deal or an absolute waster.

I'm in two minds who I WANT to win tonight. Burns is a guy I really admire but his 140 reign has been a disgrace and I cannot stand this three weight world champ and Scotland's greatest boxer stuff. Di Rocco was useless and Relikh scorecards were disgusting, that was at most a draw.

Which ever way this goes Crawford is THE Light a Welterweight World champion and has been since he beet Postol. Whilst the winner is a pretender with their belts I still want all four belts with the same person

If Indongo wins his next fight will 100% be Crawford. If Burns wins I know he would fight Crwaford again but Hearn will get in the way of that fight, " Oh there's no money etc etc etc " he has even mentioned Crolla fighting Burns !

However it is still important for big shows to happen in Scotland and Burns losing convincingly stops that. Josh Taylor is not yet at the level to take over.

As always I hope Ricky wins. I agree he's not Scotland's greatest ever boxer but he's comfortably top ten.

The latest world title is pretty artificial I agree and he should have probably retired a couple of years ago but for the financial issue. However he was a world class super feather and lightweight and deserves credit for that.

He doesn't have an awful lot left and every fight is a tough one these days regardless of the opposition so I anticipate a stressful night.

I hope he has made the money back that he lost due to the managerial issues. He deserves that if nothing else and wouldn't begrudge him a couple of good pay days before he hangs up the gloves for good.

I was ringside for that. I think it was the 7th round Burns took some big shots and I remember thinking at the time the ref was ready for jumping in. Thankfully he never. Great night and a solid performance. Had Martinez hurt a few times as well.
