He still wouldn't have The Ring belt, so he wouldn't be undisputed, not to me anyway. I also think he'd need a Jacobs rematch, that win was questionable.

Ward stepped up a divisision to fight a P4P ranked beast in Kovalev. GGG has never stepped up a division nor even fought someone as highly regarded as Kovalev.

Actually, it isn't worth nearly as much as any of those. Those paper belts help guys get fights and earnings. The ring title has never done either for anyone. Again, if they didn't award it to the winner last week than it's even more of a laughingstock than the WBA super interim plantain banana belt.

So, if he beat BJS and Canelo in his next pair of fights to hold the WBC/WBA/IBF/IBO/Ring titles, you wouldn't consider him undisputed champ because the Jacobs result was arguable?

For pretty much as long as I've followed the sport, undisputed champ referred to someone holding all the major ABC titles, so I will consider GGG the undisputed champ if he does the above. Further, unless a fighter has beaten everyone in the division, there are still guys out there who can dispute the person at the top actually being the best, so going by a select group of titles in this case adds practicality to the concept.

Do you not consider Ward a unified champ due to the heavily debated nature of his win over Kovalev? Or is that somehow a clear win while GGG's was questionable?

GGG didn't beat Jacobs because he couldn't K.O him. LOL

Yeah, if he actually beat multiple champions like say Wlad that'd maybe be different, but since he doesn't even have that.

Let me put it this way for Ward to be the undisputed champ I think he'd need to beat Stevenson and Kovalev or equivelent, I'm sure a lot of people would agree.

No. Ward sat out for 18 months and couldn't make SMW anymore.
He got his tuneups on HBO under the condition that he had to fight Kovalev.
