Yeh agree on that, Fana and Cruz were woeful choices. Here's hoping a win on Sat pushes Terry onto a big fight against Linares or Easter Jr.

Wasn't Fana was supposed to be a tick over prior to Verdejo, who then bollocksed himself. Then Cruz the same and now it's off again?

I wouldn't place too much fault at Flanagan and his team's feet for it.

If they go softer after Petrov then maybe. I'm giving a pass for now though.

I think Fana was originally scheduled for the Fury vs. Klitschko bill, I remember FW saying he doesn't want to pay for a top class opponent on another promoter's show, fair one, I guess.

Not sure on Cruz but it could be, I know Flanagan was a relatively late addition to the Cardiff bill.

True, Fana was gonna be on Fury v Klitschko. And I agree with not spending big bucks on someone else's show. I think both were very soft picks, but with the intention of fighting Verdejo in the first half of this year, which it seems now isn't happening.

I think what they do after Petrov will show whether they're all talk and no trousers or not.

To be fair, having looked through some footage of him, Connal looks talented

I was at the weigh in yesterday and along with others found a source of amusement at the apparent mismatch when Dubois did the head to head / face off with his opponent.
Good luck to Marcus Kelly from Cornwall who in fairness has won his only fight.
I know looks can be deceptive but Dubois simply dwarfed over him and it just didn't look right .
The comedy continued with Jordon Thompsons opponent and members of the crowd were actually laughing on this occasion . It looked as if he had been dragged into the venue off the streets via the local homeless shelter ! Again it just didn't look right and on the face of it a truly blatant mismatch . His opponent is a Latvian with just 80 losses ! .

He's a big lump for a 19 year old isn't he. One to keep an eye on for sure. Interesting comment from Bunce that he done exceptionally well when sparring AJ and he had to be careful what he said or the lawyers would be after him.

Aside from that momentary wobble against Whyte, his chin has held up well in actual fights where it matters.

Im not really that fussed if he's getting chinned in sparring. Its better to get knocked out there than in actual fights i guess.

Usual cobblers from blow hard Bunce, bigging up his boss's new signing, if it was the other way round or AJ wasn't match room he'd not be mentioning rumours.
