Williams stoppage in the late rounds

really looking forward to this ,i think smith will have a slight edge over the distance.i like the attitude of both of them ,it could be a proper scrap as neither will want to give an inch.

I'll probably be taking Smith by decision here, but I really don't know. This is an interesting fight.

This is a toss up fight, and that is great. So I'm staying away from betting and predictions. I haven't seen enough of Williams to judge. I thought Patterson because of fitness and boxing ability was a good bet as an outsider.... but staying away from this. I think it will go distance though. That might be the only value bet.

Edit - looking at records I think Smith will get this, but not having watched Williams leaves me a bit in the dark.

You have to watch footage before making a prediction. You might find that your opinion differs from the general consensus. I have Williams dominating this fight from start to finish. Smith is far too basic and plodding. Williams should be landing counters all night and he actually looks the bigger man and bigger puncher too. I also suspect Corcoran might be better than anyone Smith has beaten and I think that was a superb learning fight for Williams. Smith won't be able to compete on the outside and Williams should be able to land sharp counters when Smith tries his predictable combinations.

Nowhere near a 50:50 fight for me.

From watching Williams vs Corcoran, I have to say I can see why it's 60/40 or 50/50 in terms of fan predictions. He's eternally better than Smith in many ways, but he showed some weaknesses that can be exploited. Williams might need to start quick and get an early lead, which I'd expect anyway given Smith's slow starts! Defo looking forward to this.

Wouldn't be so quick to judge Williams. I think he could be a level above Smith

I guess time will tell. From what i've seen of him though, I dont think he's anything hugely special but then again, Smith is no great shakes. I think Smith is probably European level at best.

Still struggling on this one normally at least got an idea by now. Can't wait for it!
