Being one of the best HW's makes him relevant. The division is severely lacking in talent overall, and Povetkin is still right at the top.
Being a drug cheat that's not in the rankings makes him irrelevant. I don't care how good he might be, if he's juicing he should be banished from the sport.
Who is not juicing? I don't know if he was careless or was framed, but that is the only thing which differs him from others.
What matters is who got caught. I for one wouldn't say any professional athlete is clean, but Boxing is actually testing now so you either need to up your cheat game or clean up. Povetkin has chosen neither so he can waste Ryabinski's money for meaningless fights or offer a contender a giant paycheck for a dangerous fight in Russia that won't give them any benefit in the rankings. They may even be removed for taking the fight. He's finished, deal with it.

I don't need to deal with it, as I don't care much. I just don't understand all that outrage about juicing.

You sure seem to care. I wanted to see the Wilder fight. Athletes have been juicing for decades, not fair to point fingers until it cancels an event. Holyfield is my second favorite fighter.

I only care when people start to single out one country as if others are clean. I don't care about Povetkin in particular.

Luckely everybody with even just a slight bit of brain knows that Povetkin is innocent, so it barely matters who he fights, his fight will allways be more interesting as any Wilder fight. This, since everybody knows Wilder is a fake champion, Povetkin should be the real WBC champion.

Povetkin will get his shot if he defeats PEDvetkin on July 1.

Fact remains, no matter what, when, or where, I'll allways remain less retarded as either of you.

Wilder and Stiverne were robbed of the chance to KTFO this midget in four rounds. Too bad the princess won't fight outside of Russia, if he hadn't waited to force a purse bid the fight could have taken place in fall 2015 and he could have legally done lines of Meldonium in between rounds.

I got PEDvetkin all the way. Juiced to the gills like he is all the time, no way will the pillsbury doughboy version be able to compete. I hope there isn't random testing. :oo

Wilder at least had a respectable shot of proving some of his doubters wrong, but fat boy Bermane (one win since 2014 and he apparently looked like shit) probably would've copped a beating. I suspect that things worked out well for him....

Povetkin doesn't need any juice to beat his opponends and even if he took them it wouldn't have much effect on his performance, it probably only would go worse.

Because the number of boxers who would stand a chance of beating (an alleged performance enhanced Povetkin) could be counted on the fingers of one hand. That makes him impossible (for me) to ignore.
