Interesting that when the poll agreed with you it was fine.
Once you didn't agree with the poll it must be crooked.
Brilliant logic

It's an internet poll, large groups of people can get on at anytime and cast their votes all at once which can sway the overall result in a matter of seconds.

So in one second a large block of votes suddenly came in all for Easter and switched the poll around?

:OhYes:

I really like Shafikov. Tough little dude. But, he did not win this fight. He made it close but he did not do enough to get the win.

My 115-113 score is very generous to Shafikov. I just cannot see an objective way to get him that win. That said, 120-108 x 2 is ridiculous. Those judges should be investigated.

1. 10-9 E
2. 10-9 E
3. 10-9 E
4. 9-10 S (very close)
5. 9-10 S
6. 9-10 S (close)
7. 10-9 E
8. 10-9 E (close)
9. 9-10 S (very close)
10. 10-9 E (very close)
11. 9-10 S (very close)
12. 10-9 E (close)

115-113 Easter

I only watched it once.

Easter is a good fighter. Tougher than I expected. Does not mind the inside stuff. Love to see him v Linares.

To those who consistently want to give fighters extra points for walking forward - grow up, this is boxing. Just following your opponent around the ring catching leather is not an attribute.

I would like to see Shafikov v Zlaticanin.
You're done. Stop scoring fights right now!
Cover your eyes.

-----------

Trollzio/Tanzero - Why must you be on the wrong side of every debate? Aggressiveness has to be in the scoring calculation. If both fighters were backpeddling/running away where would that leave us? Furthermore Shafikov wasn't catching leather. He was giving more than receiving.

Crooked boxing.

EFFECTIVE aggression has to be calculated, not just coming forward.

I myself thought it was way closer than those 120-108 cards, but the right man in Easter won.

It was a night of 'filled out our cards ahead of time' judging. Easter deserved to win, but that was an 8-4/7-5 type of fight and the 12-0 cards are disgraceful.

The Clark decision was an outright robbery, and the 7-1 card is ATG level bad. After he got hurt in the 4th he became a fighting to survive spoiler, and to get that score you'd have to give him multiple rounds in which he was throwing next to nothing and getting tagged regularly. When 79-73 was announced I thought that Golub had it won.

Shafikov lost but he was competitive.

The self-proclaimed boxing expert, watching boxing and saying "What is this?"
"It's boxing."
"This is boxing?!?! All this time I've been claiming to be an expert on it, and this is the first time I've seen it."

115-113, 116-112 are good scores. One could even try to defend 117-111, but 120-108 is a sign of either corruption or complete incompetence.

It can happen.
Did you vote on the poll?
Try to vote again from the same computer you used last time, it shouldn't let you and it gives you a voter number from earlier.
I voted earlier from this computer and just tried again, it wouldn't let me cast a second vote, told me I had already voted and said voter ID was #41.
Not many people voting to begin with so it's not going to take many votes to move the poll.

Just watched this fight. I am not upset at Easter winning (I scored it a 114-114 draw, and IMO it could have gone either way) but the scoring was absolutely ludicrous. Boxing is circling the drain in the US and this sort of thing doesn't help.
