A lot of the 2008 lot went with Warren didn't they? Gavin, Degale, BJS from memory. Perhaps it was a lack of interest on Warren's side. I doubt it, but I suppose it's possible. Wasn't it around that time Warren lost Sky?

Saw him a few times as an amateur, he looked good vs weak opposition but seemed to run out of ideas quickly whenever he faced an opponent he couldn't bully.

Looks a strong lad though, maybe his style is suited more to the pros. Good luck to him.

Is he training with Gallagher?

Camp Eddie will hammer home the LFC Fowler connection. Based on his Scouse roots, he can expect several unsuccessful title shots. If he doesn't get them, than an inquiry is in order...

Sure Matchroom had the big TV deal that Frank didn't have in 2012, but it does seem to be extremely cosy between the GB Olympic set up and matchroom at the moment ! It's almost the Fast Car school of Talent ;)

On the other hand the boys can see how Eddie has looked after Joshua and he has done a great job to be fair ! ( of course promoting an athletic KO beast who won Olympic superheavy gold in his home country is going to be easier task than promoting a decent light middle weight Olympian)

That is a cracking find mate....he must be injured as has been six months. There is one to watch
He went back to the amateurs and then suffered an injury, which is making him miss the Asian championships later this month
Seems strange! Still, he is young!

Staying on the subject of the Kazakh, it seems like he's going to have to miss the World Championships in Hamburg as well as the Asian Championships in Tashkent...maybe a sign to go fully pro....

So hard to understand. He might need a translator.

If he is challenging for the British title in that short amount of time, then the BBBoC must be desperate to put the British belt on anyone.

Will he do well, I hope so and I hope he does become a world champion in the future. But I also hope this 18 month goal of winning the British title falls flat quickly.

Not "big game" -- Fowlers hunt birds!

You add in Taylor/2 x Yafai's/Campbell - they have all done well both in terms of exposure/financially.

They see Hearn giving them path to the monies with Sky and regular dates guaranteed.

Cordina/Kelly/Fowler/Okolie all look good additions to any stable as you build them - wouldn't be surprised to see Buatsi as well shortly.

Buatsi was sitting next to Hearn at Next Gen at York Hall show.

Warren had Cleverly, Bellew, Khan, Enzo, Brook, Mitchell and many more when he signed Degale, Gavin and Saunders all at the same time.

I imagine few go with him because it's a relatively small community and when word goes round about financial issues you're not taking that option. Look how many have left him over finances and endured legal fallout?
