Khurtsidze was loving all that, think he really fancies the job. Straight to the weight diss too
Hughie seems a nice guy tbf. Shame he's surrounded by such a crap team.TheGingerBomber wrote:Sort of a shame that Fury & Saunders represent the traveller communities. The only reason for this is their barbaric treatment of themselves, despite their athlete status.
Tbf, they probably are a good representation of most travellers, but I'm no expert, I only say this because of their backwards thinking towards certain things.

If you ignore the 'being gay is like being a paedophile and women are only good for cooking, cleaning and shagging.'lillywhite14 wrote:Fury seems like a genuinely nice bloke imoTheGingerBomber wrote:Sort of a shame that Fury & Saunders represent the traveller communities. He can be a nice guy but you can't ignore or dismiss stuff like that.

Then stories emerged he was injured and couldn't make date.
More likely been told to hang fire until after Canelo/Chavez bout if they have already done a deal perhaps.
I like him, I think he's a fucken dude, which isn't quite the same as saying he's such a nice guydirk2686 wrote:You can ignore it if all you're commenting on is his boxing career, but it's a legitimate point if you're saying how nice a guy he is.

That's fair enough, but a perfect example of how people are prepared to give a LOT of leeway to a guy who thinks being gay should be a death sentence and is comparable with abusing children.Counter-puncher wrote:I like him, I think he's a fucken dude, which isn't quite the same as saying he's such a nice guydirk2686 wrote:You can ignore it if all you're commenting on is his boxing career, but it's a legitimate point if you're saying how nice a guy he is.
I remember I took a mate to visit other mates once, and my mate was at the time working with a local Tory party HQ and hoping to get on their shortlist, and my other mates after were saying 'how can you be mates with him?'
The guy was/is a proper mate who was there for me when I needed him, I couldn't give a fvck for his politics. I feel similar with Tyson, the overall package I like quite a lot, and for all the reasons always given think he is a breath of fresh air in our sport.
In the context of that some silly views on this or that don't affect me in the slightest.
He'd have to have done a lot worse than a couple of stupid comments on issues that don't concern me, to overcome 'BATMAN', and singing after fights, and the many interviews where I get the impression I would love to have a few hours on the lash with him chatting poo about boxing

Fury goes overboard loads of times around a fight. However, I remember after Wlad win, the journalists interviewed were saying that Fury is a good person and great with them. There are a lot of fighters who are idiots around fight time but are genuinely very good people.dirk2686 wrote:If you ignore the 'being gay is like being a paedophile and women are only good for cooking, cleaning and shagging.'

I've said it before; Fury clearly does come across as a really nice guy at times, but some stuff he's said on more than an odd occasion is demonstrably hateful. I'd love to see how he'd react if Joshua said all pikies are no good for anything except crime, skipping school and dying young. Freedom of speech? I wonder.brian13 wrote:Fury goes overboard loads of times around a fight. However, I remember after Wlad win, the journalists interviewed were saying that Fury is a good person and great with them. Saunders is a prick and he gets too much attention despite being an awful champion.

Being gay is not similar to being a nonce no, but I respect Fury for telling it how he sees it. Is that not why us in "The West" invade countries for? So we can give those people the freedom to make their own choices? But yet if you don't agree with same sex marriage, you're the devil and a backwards thinker!dirk2686 wrote:If you ignore the 'being gay is like being a paedophile and women are only good for cooking, cleaning and shagging.'lillywhite14 wrote:Fury seems like a genuinely nice bloke imoTheGingerBomber wrote:Sort of a shame that Fury & Saunders represent the traveller communities.
