It's fortunate we know you're joking or you'd be getting a visit from the men in white coats

Maybe even bigger because before that fight hardly anyone seriously believed Leonard could win. After the fight an awful lot of people, myself included, thought he hadn't.
You can't compare these fighters to the mercurial Ray Leonard. So this won't be Hagler v Leonard ll. It will be more like Hagler v Hagler. And that is good enough for anybody.
Fair comment. Ray Leonard was one hell of a fighter and an ATG by any measure. Very difficult to pick a winner in the Hagler fight though.

This will be the biggest Middleweight Title Fight in Boxing History... Canelo is 49-1.. He's a former Lineal Middleweight Champion and has beaten 2 Middleweight Champions already.. Leonard was a Welterweight who hadn't fought in 3 years and looked terrible in his previous fight.. I didn't think too much of Hagler -- and I didn't think too much of the intensity and passion that Leonard-Hagler was fought with.. I had Leonard a clear winner all the way.
Monzon never had a big fight but I loved his 1st Benvenuti fight and his 1st Griffith fight.. He looked terrible in Griffith 2...like he hadn't slept or something wasn't right with him.. I loved his Valdez fights to finish his career.. I loved Valdez's 1-punch KO of a prime Benny Briscoe...Fkking BRUTAL!!
The Middleweight Title Fight I anticipated the most was Toney-McCallum 1.. I thought it was a savage, blockbuster match-up.. I could barely believe these 2 punchers were fighting.. McCallum was only 35 and Toney could really hit at 160.. Outside of Golovkin those are toughest Middleweights I've ever seen, chin wise. They really teed off on each other and the fight was everything I expected. McCallum had been waiting so long for a big fight I was so happy for him when the fight got signed.. I didn't like the way the fight was promoted, like it was an ordinary fight.. The pisser is the judges ruled it a draw and I thought Mike nudged it.. I didn't like their other 2 fights. McCallum was getting old. I wanted him to retire but he didn't.
