In a Crawford interview when him vs Spence is mentioned, it is the only time I have seen him hesitate, look very unsure of himself, and claim that Spence is moving up so it probably won't happen. Crawford seems ultra confident when talking about everyone else. Spence is quite a bit bigger. About 3 inches taller and walks around about 15 lbs + more than Crawford. Crawford vs Garcia would be interesting, as I read they split in the amateurs. I also read Crawford beat Mikey Garcia handily in the amateurs as well. Crawford will be a tough battle for anyone that gets in with him, you can bet on that. To me he is more versatile, great speed and moves much better laterally than Spence. Other than that, Spence has the size and strength advantages, along with a relentless body attack.

He's a better boxer than Spence and more proven. Spence hasn't faced anyone with exeptional speed or power and only gets hyped because of a rumored sparring session with Floyd where they leave out that Floyd almost stopped him.
You keep saying that, yet none of us that are high on him ever mention anything to do with sparring Floyd.

Where did you hear that Floyd nearly stopped him in the sparring session?

By his 22nd fight Kell Brook was fighting Rick Dishwasher, and washy dishy man was a step up. Dozens of people came to see it... So lets not debate who's the actual ambitious fighter in this match up. Kell had nowhere else to go, he was forced into this fight or vacate. Kahn played him again, his money grab at middleweight almost ended his career thank goodness he didn't have to face the true ending, this guy's arrogance combined with Hearn's mishandling has left Kell in a bad spot. You will all undeniably see why this was the last fight the Brit wanted. After this fight all anyone is going to hear is "like Jeff Lacy huh? lolololololol yeah.."

He's not fighting Joshua, much to your dismay he'll just be busting up Kell brook.

I thought after the guy posting he'd be multi division unifying all belts that going after the heavyweight champ was the next natural step!

You confuse me not liking or rating spence with dealing with the crazies. It's like shooting fish in a barrel

I doubt he'll be around welter long enough to unify. He may do it at 54, might have to beat brook again!

I'm hoping for a classic and then why not! Im nervous but so looking forward to the fight. Most in ages! Could be the tommy - ray Leonard of this era! Probably exaggerating a lot but who cares!

Brook & Spence both said "I'm not taking a step back" which means fireworks.

Translated: Usually Means:

...Only If I have to...

In other words I expect a tactical fight. I'd be surprised if they both went Hagler Hearns on each other.

How do you see him against Thurman.Pac.Charlo bros..Lara.Andrade?
Can he become the top boss @ 147 & 154, coming into consideration along with guys like Loma or Crawford as the best boxer in the world?
Let's see how the Brook fight goes first.
Spot on.

He hasn't beaten anyone noteworthy at 147 yet, never mind 154.

He's obviously a great prospect I have tipped him to win, but I think the massive hype might be going to his head.

Even if he does get past Brook, there's a world of trouble out there at 147 if he truly wants to rule the division.

Agreed.

There's no need for them to go Hagler/Hearns at all.

Hagler v Hearns was only like that because that was the only way Marvin could win his fights by 1985.

This is not the case with Brook & Spence.

The proof is in the pudding, we'll see soon enough who's the man and who isn't. The funniest part is everyone, even the oddsmakers, think Brook is gonna fail in his own hometown. Everyone except a few fluffers no big deal.

Brook may lose!

It's not because spence got to the top quicker, or has shown more ambition at any stage of his career etc etc

He'll be the better man on fight night. End

Actually it's a lot more relevant than you think. Brook the long time welterweight chose to never face a real puncher, in his own division, before his promoter threw him in with a middleweight that hits like a light heavyweight. That complacency, as a long time top WW & champion and not once facing a top puncher, is a red flag. The only guarantee is that he's gonna wish he had faced one before today, because today is going to hurt. Cheers

Porter may not be mike Tyson but he's hardly feather fisted is he

The fact that he got in with golovkin shows he isn't too concerned about his whiskers

You can call it a red flag if you like. To say the only guarantee is he'll wish he had been in with punchers prior to spence isn't a guarantee at all, it's just your bias for spence, who coincidently has been in with no punchers. Red flag?

Long story short, you want/think spence will win. No problems.

Biased arguements are easy to counter though
