I couldnt believe the chin on Chudinov! He got hit with about 20/30 huge shots in succession and still didnt look like touching down.

I know mate it defies logic! How the hell he stayed up is beyond me. His brother looked a hardy guy in the Eubank Jnr fight as well. He took plenty of big shots and just kept on going.

Yeah he took a real beating in that fight aswell! Those Froch-esque chins lol. Although saying that, Froch still touched down twice in his career. Craziness.

It's a case of Groves' jab and size versus Chudinov's relentless aggression and power.
Fedor clearly has weight he could lose. I think he fights at 168, because his older brother is a MW, but he should reconsider and try 160.

WBA S Middleweight Champion is Felix Sturm isn't it

Chudinov almost proved that he didn't need any boxing skills by trying to walk through Groves. Boxing won, but only just. Chudinov found out the hard way that when you reach the highest levels your usual tactics might not work so well.
Its to Groves credit that he hung in there. For a while it looked like Kovalev v Cleverly. Luckily for Groves he had enough power to turn it round.
I was glad for Groves because I can't help feeling that if he could get it together he could be a real star.
The talent is there, just needs to gel.

WBA titles is a mess. Sturm was stripped from the "super" title for doping. However, the decision (which was a robbery in the first place) of his second fight against Chudinov wasn't overturned, and the title was vacant until Groves grabbed it two days ago.
The "regular" 168 paper title belongs to Zeuge.

Was it that's why Groves was so happy and crying it was for real not really the number one contender...........So it was for the real belt

I am not convinced that Groves can handle the big boys of SMW, and I don't mean Jack or DeGale.

Sturm won the belt in a bit of a robbery of Chudinov, but was then done for failing drug test. The fight was made a no contest and the belt was vacant.
Although the belt was technically vacant I think most people saw Chudinov as the defending champion as he never should have lost it in the first place.
Chudinov is a tough, hard man. I can see him giving many a fighter a tough night.
Groves vs Degale should be next, no more bulls hit just agree a 50/50 split, or 60/40 to the winner.

Saw some of it and the finale but not the entire contest.
Hype is gearing toward DeGale v Groves 2.

I don't think it was. Boxrec still shows MD for Sturm.

The stoppage was perfect: Chudinov had already been buzzed in the precedent rd, and he clearly was out on his feet.
But i thought Groves looked like crap for the whole duration, ha ha.
Afraid to get hit, garbage defense, expending all his energy for nothing on the outside.
Exactly the same mistakes he's always made.
Degale will stop him.

Really? Well it should, do the WBA not know their own rules or something?

Chudinov's team probably didn't pay enough.

Well, news is Groves got a fractured jaw in the third.
Why do i hate to be right, lol?

So Groves legitimately beat Chudinov, but he was crap and garbage?

More like you hate being wrong and are looking for some way out.
Groves beat Chudinov.

Calm down, girls.
Groves looked off to me from the start. With the right trainer and strategy, he could have beaten Froch. He wasted away his opportunity, like he's wasting the remaining of his prime, using completely wrong tactics.
I loved the way he humbled Froch for a few rounds, but i hate seeing talent misused and thrown down the drain, which he's been doing up to now.
He's a ko away from opponent status, and i believe the Degale rematch will go very, very wrongly for him.

I said this before chudinov, but I think groves beats chunky. It'd be close fight as ever, but I think he has slight edge on him

If he does, i'll pop up a champagne bottle.
But he won't.
The Groves from the Glen Johnson and Degale fights is gone now; he's way less mobile, slower and easier to hit while still fighting hands by his side.
Even if chunky has declined a little, he's still on top of his game; Groves doesn't have a prayer i'm afaid.

Of course he has a prayer! Ffs!
