Howard Eastman wasn't produced by Robert McCracken, love.
who you calling love, duckie? he may not have been "produced" by mcracken per se, but do you wanna tell me who was howard's coach when he won the ebu title against tendil in 2003? or british and commonwealth against scottie dann?
Yeah, terrific wins for a WBC number one.

touche - tho i kinda assumed we'd already included froch (didn't make that too clear, tho). i'm still unsold on froch - he looks world class in patches and area level in between. needs to keep his left up too otherwise i see a short nap on the canvas in his near future.

Perhaps he hasn't needed to raise his left arm before now to ensure a victory. Maybe Dodson will be the one to raise Froch's arm. That will wait to be seen.

By the way, journeyman, I'm sorry for calling you "love". I thought Frochylady had posted the Howard Eastman answer and I've just noticed it was you. I can see how that would have niggled you.
Again, apologies.

He waits for instructions from his coach? Can't the guy think for himself?
As for the dictionary, i couldn't really get into it, the plot was way over my head. I did manage to get as far as conceited though, and i find that an adequate discription of Mr Froch.

Oooooh I cant wait to see Froch get his smug, arrogant, big headed arse kicked. dont care who does it and i dont care when. just as long as it happens, and it will. without doubt. the minute he comes up against someone who doesnt beleive in all his self perpetuated shit, the "cobra" will be gone. much the same way as the bbc cartoon did!! Ive got no time whatsoever for Froch. hes a tosser. hes done absolutely nothing for me to make me think hes anywhere close to being special. im glad the beeb dropped him.
i feel better for that.

It won't happen. Dodson needs a warm-up, maybe two.

btw, may as well grace this thread with a fight prediction...
dodson comes out fast trying to take out some of his recent frustrations on the nottingham native. froch is stunned early as dodson has success with straight rights over the cobra's lazy low left. froch touches down briefly in the third but rallies to put dodson down for an 8 count in the fifth. by this stage the british champ's ring rust and inactivity catch up with him and, blowing hard for a couple of rounds, he's finally stopped on his feet in the 7th.
froch wins tko7

I think you'll find that Froch hasn't been dropped form the bbc Audley was...perhaps you should pay more attention to what is going on rather than let your judgements hinder what is actually happeneing.
Neil R obviously has issues. Grow up.

officially, he's not been dropped but they've only confirmed more than one fight for only one boxer - david haye has five fights remaining til march 05. whether or not carl features on the channel may depend on his match-maker. personally, i fear boxing is dead on the bbc after they blew their budget on football highlights and the interactive olympics coverage. carl needs a good performance and some good figures against dodson if he's gonna continue on terrestrial tv. don't expect it to happen.

The problem with the beeb is that they don't appreciate or understand any sport that doesn' consist of football, tennis (as if we're ever gonna win they should drop wimbledon) and the current bout of Olympics. They wouldn't know a good fight if a boxer hit the head of Sports with a good right hook. Lets face it, they'll show any violence but won't show a fair fight that gets pulses going. Perhaps I should become a ring girl, that might make their pulses race...

you'll be laughing on the other side of your face once this fiest lady has caught up with you...but Froch beating Dodson will be enough.
