I unfortunately haven't seen the fight, as despite paying for the PPV, it only allowed you to watch the replay in the morning, and I was away until yesterday evening.

Greetings from America! Hey, let's be clear. Kell was not anywhere close to being "comfortably ahead" he won 4 rounds maximum and never once appeared to be on his way to a clear win. Why on Earth are the worst scores in boxing always saved for Kell Brook fights? It's like the Twilite Zone.

I think Kell made the right decision to end it himself. He was down big time, as the surprisingly accurate scorecards showed. His eye was gone for rounds, and he was getting whupped. That whole team is to blame, last two fights have been arrogance personified. Hence why they ended badly and now might have ruined a career. Not to mention the man's sight.

Brook is a warrior regardless, sad to see him go out like that.

What planet are you on? They let Brook get puffed up on bums for a decade, never ever fighting anyone who could make him better truly test him. They also didn't "make" him a world champion. At a snail's pace Kell finally became a mandatory to the weakest title holder at 147, then HE won it neither of those two guys made a bit of difference there that was all Kell. Even the millionaire part is a joke, he went against all wishes and jumped up two weight classes for his only big payday and while it helped Hearn it fucked his eye and career up. Now the other eye is broken and he'll never come back properly from it. You call that good work by Hearn and Ingle, God help you.

dont discuss things you know fornicate all about. Kells career path was difficult, he was good enough to be on the avoided list at world level and too good for other british/european and and commonwealth contenders (ask Frankie Gavin).

Brooks long journey to be world champion was hampered by injury, his fights against Devon Alexander etc were close to happening but unfortunate happenings made sure they never happened. He then went across the pond, won the title from a real champ (porter) in his own back yard. Then, he beat his IBF mandatory challengers (as you have to to keep the belt). Jumped at the chance to fight GGG and did not disgrace himself (yes he was beaten but his stock improved). He fought Spence as Spence was the mandatory (you were complaining about mandatory opponents 1 minute then complaining Brook was in with a good one this time!!)

there is just no pleasing some people. No ones career path is easy. Brook won one of the recognised world titles an defended it a few times against the opponents as dictated by the IBF. He defended his belt like a champ, and got beaten like a champ.

He will be able to tell and show his grandchildren his stories and belts.

there are a few hundred thousand pro boxers in the world who would love to be as acclaimed as Brook and to be as decorated as Brook.

Strangely, i bet if you were next to him your grubby little selfie stick would spring into action so you could show your mates a picture of yourself with the 'champ'

Former Champ, and no you fluffers bought all the selfie sticks ruining it for us all.. I know his story, and his resume with basically 3 good fighters on it 2 of which absolutely destroyed him. His accomplishments pale in comparison to the way you guys constantly blow him. Sad thing is he is a great fighter, mismanaged didn't reach his potential specifically because he wasn't in with the other top welterweights as often as he should have been. Injuries, pricing out, diva moments, opponent changes, whatever the reasoning he undoubtedly had the chances, took advantage of one against Porter and that was it. Expected a lot more from such a good talent. Now he's a twice broken fighter unsure of everything. What weight, who to pursue, will the eyes hold up, is the hunger even still there after submitting again.. Oh well, they chose that stupid path look what it got them. Some money and a ruined fighter. You can call that success, but that's obviously debatable.

I don't feel he got destroyed by anybody..... if the GGG fight had gone longer then maybe. If it wasn't for the eye against Spence we might be having a different conversation as I think he could have pulled it off..... I think bad luck rather than bad management and let's not forget it's Brook who wanted the fights he will be back you can bet on it I think he will do rather well at 154 everybody is beatable and with Brook not struggling to make 147 we will see a stronger more confident fighter

However look who bradley fought in that time....pacman 3 times, marquez and rios. If Brook had won he would have faced fighters in the top rank stable instead he was fighting club level fighters untill he finally faced porter.
Hearn and ingle did let brook down imo. Once the eubank v GGG fight fell through hearn decided not to pay jessie vargas what he originally agreed for a welterweight unification and instead make Brook v GGG because it made him more $. Basically he cashed brook out for a short term gain. Ingle should have pulled the plug however after hearing his delusional comments "brook bashed GGG up" (who was the one with a broken face again?) and sticking by a drug cheat my opinion of him has gone right down.

Brook was going to improve even more, he is a great fighter, but the soft touches cost him dearly. The easy fights negated any chance of improvement. Ingle slipped even further in my mind. Humble pie was exactly what that guy needed. Now we're left wondering how good Brook could have been. I thought he was a 2 division champ for sure. Now we don't even know if he'll even be cleared to ever fight again. 2 terrible eye injuries and being susceptible to more or permanent damage, no Hearn and Ingle did not do that great for KB. Sorry that is the truth.

Kell did not under achieve....he was world champ, fought and won the belt stateside, defended it, took part in some big money spins in this country. thats certainly not under achieving. he never ducked anyone at all, he wanted the big fights, the big names. and when he got them, you like another load of the UK whingers complained because he got beat. Would you rather he had had Sven Ottkes career?

When the Chaves voluntary got cancelled and Brook priced himself out of Jessie Vargas I became very concerned. These were the fights that could've bridged his stylish world class boxing to a slightly higher level, made him a bit more formidable.

Sadly Kell didn't focus absolutely 100% on the belt, the dangerous mando in his own weight class.

You needed to maximize your potential as a professional athlete, thats what a good match making is. Yes if we measure Brook by the standards of homeless junkie, he have done marvelously.

Whilst I think Brendan Ingle was a visionary for promoting a different style.... I always had the feeling he was a terrific bellend and severely greedy for money. He seems very bitter. I always remember how in so many interviews he was going on about how Hamed would make him rich. It was rather ugly.

His sons look and act like thick bouncers. I recognise Brendan's achievements and his important contribution to British boxing, but there is something sour in him I don't like.

I remember he was with Junior Witter gatecrashing an interview after Jon Thaxton (one of Ingle's own fighters) boxed Ricky Hatton... he didn't care about Jon's contribution to the fight and it was a draining 12 round fight.

No he was more concerned about trying to manoeuvre Witter into a big fight with Ricky. Very disrespectful to his own fighter Thaxton who fought with a lion heart.

I can't warm to him.
