Khan fought Alvarez at practically the light-middleweight limit though didn't he? Its a fair enough comment though because its clear to see that Brook is naturally bigger than Khan who's best days imo were at 140.

It's also clear to me that Khan really doesn't want any part of Kell unless he gets it all his own way in negotiations, he produces excuse after excuse every time. Brook has already said he thinks his future is at 154 so that's Khans next excuse boxed off.

yeah i think he would fight brook but unless hes getting his own way in negotiations at the moment he sees bigger fights out there in terms of money.

I dont think its possible any more. Like Groves got Cobra-ed Brook got Good boy-ed. Difference is that he is older and has had too many injuries. Jumping around weights hasn't help either. He wont recover in my opinion ever.

Has to be 154. Unless he fights Danny Garcia then I want to see him move up. Andrade would be a good and winnable fight IMO if he heals well.

I'm not sure about the Khan fight anymore tbh. They've had their chance. It would still sell but it won't do the kind of numbers it would've done a year or two back. They would probably both need a tune up first particularly Khan so it's a long way off still. It's just looking as if they've missed the boat and personally I'm not as interested in it now as I once was.

Kell can still have a bright future if he heals properly. It has to be big fights from here until retirement though. No more Dans or Biziers/Gavin's. I wouldn't begrudge him a tune up after his op but after that he has to make every fight count.

I agree,i didn't see anything in the Spence fight to suggest he could go up a weight and claim a title with relative ease as some are suggesting.

I agree,i didn't see anything in the Spence fight to suggest he could go up a weight and claim a title with relative ease as some are suggesting.

I remember writing before the GGG fight that although many viewed as a "no lose" situation for Brook, that he would get smashed up badly and never be the same fighter again. I`m not saying that Brook is shot, cos he isn`t, but that GGG brutalization definitely took an edge away from him. He was hammered in that fight and got hammered again in this fight. His confidence will be shot to bits. Fair dues, he beat Shawn Porter, but Porter is not an elite fighter. He`s a good solid world level welterweight. The two times Brook has fought at elite level he has been beaten up badly and his face caved in.

If we look beyond his victory against Porter (who he beat but certainly not easily), his next best win must be Matthew Hatton or Frankie Gavin? Not much to shout about and far away from elite as you can get.

I imagine that when he goes to sleep at night this must be on his mind that his career to date is a split decision win over Porter and nothing else of note (on the world stage at least) plus two hammerings by the two elite guys he has fought.

I've never rated him as an elite fighter and I can't disagree with that assessment to be honest, his career is mostly a tale of what might have been, not all entirely his own fault but he's certainly made mistakes along the way. If he quit now at least he can say he won a genuine world title in the USA .. . . . . and he'd still hammer Khan in my opinion

He's young enough to have a good rest and recouperation period. I think he'll come back, what you've said is pretty much spot on and he'll know that. He'll want to prove how good he can be, not just to the public but also to himself.

I'd like him to move up a weight, he seems to struggle with stamina so maybe moving up would help with that. A Khan fight would be good and I think would be big, all it would take is one good performance against a good name and he's over the last loss
