So if the going gets too rough, Ward might try to get himself out of there by intentionally fouling and hoping for a Kovalev retaliation.
Intentional fouling is Ward's normal tactics against good opposition. Are you saying he will take it on the next level?
Wouldn't surprise me one bit.
With Kovalev pissed off and desperate for the win, Ward might do a Hopkins if he feels he's getting KOD.
The referee will have a huge influence on the result.
I expect the unexpected tonight.

If Ward starts well he could get complacent and get ktfo late. Kovalev is a dangerous opponent.
If this fight produces a clear winner then they have a strong claim for p4p#1.

I think Ward will win legitimately, but don't sit around trying to dream up a scenario where he loses unfairly or illegally. Some of you are pathetic the way you go on and on trying to predict what Ward will do to win, and no matter what happens you will give no credit.
I'm ready to give full credit to Kovalev if he wins. Split, UD, KO, doesn't matter. If he wins, thumbs up for him, as he is a great fighter. I just happen to think Ward is better skilled, and the better ring IQ.
He certainly didn't show the better skills or ring IQ in their last fight -- where he got his ass kicked... Certainly you'll give credit to Kovalev if he gets the decision.. If he wins 10 rounds and the judges give it to him 115-113 because they don't want to cause another major scandal in Boxing... If he gets robbed again you'll just keep pointing to the official results as if you believe them.

There you go, lol.
Without any pun intended, how lower can this sport further sink ?
I thought Ward was on his way to another boring decision, until this. He might get into trouble outside the ring for his fouling, if one catches my drift....
