After round 5 the camera was showing wards face, his cheek bones were swollen red, he knew he had the pro black on his side and he could swing for the balls and nothing would happen.
The pro black ref let all the low blows happen, like it was normal. In round 8 ward was taking energy from kovalev landing low blows, at the end he landed a shot to kovalevs face, serguy was wobbly, ward followed up with borderline low blows just to finish it with 2-3 clear low blows. No standing count, just waved it off. I dq'd ward and declare kovalev the winner by 8 dq win. He is now 2:0 against ward. First fight ud win, second dq win.
KOVALEV WON 1 MAYBE 2 ROUND'S I SAID IT WOULD BE EASIER THE 2ND TIME AROUND WARDS THE MAN P4P KING NUMERO UNO NUMBER 1

i didn't see kov winning. ward was way
better prepared in every aspect than the
first time around. he could handle the
power and managed to get his shots in.
plus kov seemed to fade again. don't
know if due to the low blows, i rather
think he got frustrated and exhausted
by missing so often.

was a display of smart, unclean fighting
by ward and a shockingly unfair ending.

Im hoping posters such as Jip are just taking the piss and arent serious. The fight was even. I think I had Ward slightly ahead but either way he was starting the gain control and there was a long way to go in the fight. Kovalev looked beat. Stop sooking and get over it. Did anyone bother to watch the referee's instructions to what was considered low or not? He points to Kovalev's belt line and says it is good BEFORE the fight.

The body shots were low.
The head shots were low.
Kovalev's clinching was actually Ward ruining the fight as a favour for Al Haymon.
Kovalev putting Ward in a headlock was just fine.
