I guess it will happen at some point, but it has lost its shine - All I ever hear from Khan are excuses for the fight not to happen.

If it happens, it is hard to see where the PPV will be squeezed in this year.

I'm not sure it would have ever needed a world title to be at stake when this fight was first mooted but its debatable if either, especially Khan, will ever be a world champ again. The depreciation in value of this potential bout is staggering the more you think about it, they've both lost millions for what should have been a very easy fight to make.

All absoulutely correct, but I still want to see it big-time.

Like Hatton vs Witter, I just think its not destined to happen.

There just seems to be too much ego at play from Khan especially.

Its a shame. IMO Brook would stop Khan late on.

my guess it happens next summer (between june and august), big stadium. its a win win for both fighters as an end of career payday.

kel has 2 defeats on his record now but has never been ko'd

khan has numerous defeats and has been laid out.

i see kell brook having far too much bottle for khan. khan would do well for maybe 4 rounds but eventually kell would catch up with him and 'smoke' him.

Not ko'd but had the shit knocked out of him and been badly injured twice in succession. They are both looking fragile fighters these days. I hope they fight, could be a really exciting fight.
I'd have picked Brook for a ko win 12 months ago but not so sure now.

Khan is effectively semi-retired.

His career now reminds me of Sugar Ray Leonard's later career, when Ray was lying idle for long periods just waiting for the right fight to fall into his lap, then he'd pop up & fight.

Ray had the good fortune to be a golden goose fighter that everyone wanted to fight, so he could do that; Khan on the other hand is not.

Khan has barely had a career at 147, yet he somehow thinks he's owed a payday.

I've always liked Khan (even if he is somewhat deluded), but that last 4 - 5 years of his so-called career have just wound me up rotten.

It's now got to the point where I couldn't care less if he ever fought again.

Khan's career is basically over and Hearn will be looking for ways to ring the last bit of liquid out of a permenantly damaged Brook.

The best thing that can happen is for Hearn if possible to try to negotiate Khans release from Haymon (that contract has been a disaster for Khan) and cash these fcukers out against each other next summer
