This is the title Hughie Fury should be fighting for not a version of a world title. win this then at least put him in for a world title shot. Saying that Mr Joshua should be fighting for something along these lines too maybe in his 10th pro fight. I dont know it all makes no sense to me anymore. Its best just to ignore this sort of thing.

Cant see that happening. fighting a guy 15-1. If this happens I give respect to Dubois for fighting a decent opponent.

15-1 looks nice, but the guy has fought one opponent I recognize, and that opponent stopped him in 2 rounds at light heavyweight. Will presumably be a massive natural size difference, much as was the case in Dub's second fight.

No. They are too old.
The age limit for the WBC world youth title is 23 years 11 months. See here:

I can only guess if Dubois wins on Saturday he will become champion. If he loses the title will remain vacant.

I see what you are saying but this kid has experiance. Possibly not fighting fit but its a better option than the first one. I have no issues with this opponent. Good luck to Dubois.

I mean it's super early days, so I'm not really fussed about Dubois's opposition right now, but a few bouts ago his opponent weighed 172 pounds and got KO'd in two by a LHW fringe-contender. Barragan has defeated absolutely no one of note, and I fully expect Dubois to run through the much smaller man without issue.

He's a beast, this lad. For a significantly smaller man to beat Dubois, he would need to bring great boxing skills or enormous power. This Uruguayan appears to have neither unfortunately.

For a 3 fight novice its not a bad matchup. Its possibly a easy night for Dubois but this lad brings a little more ring experience and surely has to be better than fighting someone with no wins and no chin and no real record that can be proven.

It's actually an improvement from what it was before. Andrzej Wawrzyk defended this title against Bonin, Ochieng ang Mazikin, who were 35, 32 and 34 years old respectively

What a nonsense, why does Boxrec even count such fights?
If I fight a dwarf while beïng a fat heavyweight I shouldn't receive a high heavyweight ranking either...

Ya, the 15-1 record was just window dressing. This guy was at 172 not many fights ago and he'd been stopped early by the only notable opponent he faced.

I never saw the fight but was it a disgrace then? Ive not heard of the opponant but being 15-1 i thought this guy must have had a squeek by at least being more experienced.
